Hotel in good location close to the lovely town of Monmouth. Room large! Think we were in a family room. Shower above bath & only a rainwater shower head which is annoying if you don’t want to get your hair wet! I had rang & asked for a walk in shower said they didn’t have any. Hotel wasn’t busy so next morning our breakfast was made to order instead of buffet which was delicious. Tracey in the restaurant was very helpful & friendly.

A good hotel for visiting Monmouth. The staff were outstanding - very friendly, helpful and approachable. All able to help with whatever we asked fir. This included the receptionist, the waiting staff and the chef. A lovely group of hardworking people. The room was clean, the accessibility very good (I use a wheelchair). The only tiny complaint was that the shower wasn't very powerful. In fact it was quite "weak". I mentioned it to the receptionist who assured me that it would be looked into.

Rick hard pillows. Not enough towels. Room freezing on arrival and temp controller broken. Dinner was appalling. Rock hard pie, dry as a bone, cold chips. No decaff coffee available anywhere in hotel. Beds very comfy, room large, duvet great, staff nice. We stay frequently and book double rooms. There are seldom 2 towels and never decaff coffee.

Was just a standard premier inn room. However, there was a strange smell, like damp, when you walked in and the room was very cold. We did put the heating on but it only went up to 19 degrees and didn’t seem to make the room warm at all. Me and my partner only stayed the 1 night.

Clean and tidy room. There is parking on site and hotel is a short walk to town. All staff very friendly and helpful, brilliant welcome. Breakfast buffet was very good. Constantly replenished and nothing too much trouble. Would stay again.

Our stay was one of necessity to be in the area so my expectations weren’t very high but I was so pleasantly surprised by our stay. The staff were wonderful which is always helpful when travelling with children. Situated right by the motorway I expected to hear some noise but we were only staying for one night so was happy to suck it up. The hotel was quiet, peaceful and no outside noise in the rooms. Everyone had a peaceful sleep. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would happily return again on our next visit to Monmouth.
