Great hotel. Clean, and very helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is varied, and fresh, with a friendly M-F person in charge of it. I would prefer that they stick with Frosted Flakes, “for the kids”, because the Fruit Loops are full of artificial dyes, which aren’t good for anyone. Also have Raisin Bran, and other choices, more for adults. Do wish the baked goods offered at breakfast were fresher. Dunkin’ and Tops are very close, so maybe they can buy fresher baked goods there. All of the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, but several stand out, Matthew, Holden, and some women whose names I don’t know. Matthew even provided me with a box and shipping tape, when I mentioned I needed to send some overflow items home. The cleaning staff is amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. I hope they have chances for advancement in the company. The ones I had contact with were working so hard, whether dealing with laundry, trash, or preparing and cleaning rooms for guests. Overall, have had great stays at this hotel. The only caveat are the number of dogs, which hopefully I’m not placed near to, due to their barking, and my allergies.

It is very close to the airport, and it costs more than ten dollars to take a taxi. Fully equipped with laundry room, swimming pool, gym. It is also convenient to eat nearby. Very close to the University of Rochester.

The hotel staff always make us feel welcomed and ensure our stay is as pleasant as possible. My son has to come out to Rochester every few weeks to the hospital and we always stay at this location. Not only for the conscience of it but because the accommodations and staff are amazing.

Great family place. First and foremost, all the staff here is wonderful - so friendly, efficient and accommodating! They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Next, what stood out was the CLEANLINESS. The rooms and the common areas, including the pool area and linens, were so clean and neat. Couldn’t have asked for better. The room was very comfortable and the hallways were also clean. In the breakfast area, the tables were kept clean as guests kept coming in to eat. Breakfast was delicious and we had many item choices. They kept the food trays filled also. They really pay attention to detail at this hotel. I don’t understand the bad reviews here because that was not our experience at all. Quite the opposite. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in this area.

Because I had to drive back to Boston, I found this place to rest for one night. It was a very clean, quiet and elegant hotel. I highly recommend it. If you come here to visit schools, it is a good choice. It is not far from the Great Falls, and it takes an hour to drive.

On Friday night around 10:30, a worker entered my room without knocking and told me he needed to fix the light in my bathroom. He was in there for over an hour. We had to be up at 6 am the next morning. Very scary to think he could have walked in unannounced with my daughter there alone, or when we were sleeping, etc. The lobby is ridiculously cold. Our room was 85° and we could only get it to go down to 76 over the course of two days. We will not return and will be filing a complaint about the worker entering our room. In all of my years, nothing like this has ever happened. At least I won the weekend with the most bizarre event...there were many complaints from friends staying there as well. But please watch yourself and use the extra locks when in your rooms.

I am a student it was my first trip to Rochester to join the university of Rochester i stayed only 1 night the hotel was good like a 3 star hotel it was clean the breakfast was good the overall experience was good i am satisfied

My wife and I stay at this location in Rochester when we go to visit family (about 2-3 times a year). Our stays have always been exceptional, even during the Covid pandemic, during which time Covid restrictions were explained up front at check-in. There are a few employees that recognize us, and spend a few minutes talking with us. Associates at the front desk are always accessible, and address any concerns that we might have, even if it’s just telling them that the coffee urn in the lounge is empty. I’ve noticed that everyone, including maid service staff and maintenance workers always seem to be in a good mood, and interactions among associates is always pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortably arranged. The pool and exercise room are clean and an adequate size. Morning breakfast is always stocked, with a selection that would satisfy most diets. I have no negative comments whatsoever about this location.

Suite was clean. But pets next door and across were barking...Bathroom was part of the bedroom, so any one staying in the suite had to go thru the bedroom to get to it. Breakfast was OK, simple, eggs were dry and they ran out of some selections by late morning. Better food at Cracker Barrel!
