"Book this hotel because we had a train at 6am and it was next to the station. We had an issue because we booked for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 kids). But at the hotel, they says we only booked for 2 adults and they asked us to pay additionnal fee for extra people. The issue was between the booking platform and the hotel. I don't know how but somehow the commnication between them was incorrect. And it was to the customer to pay again because of the mistake between them. And the hotel was telling us that we were cheating, trying to go with 4 people and paying for 2 which was wrong."

"Spacious room, sufficient for two colleagues. Thoughtful amenities, provided additional pillow options, as well as turndown service. Good strong coffee with Nespresso machine. WiFi wa rather intermittent, kept getting disconnected during zoom online meeting but otherwise able to do emails. Short walk to conference venue (Lille Grand Palais). Limited food options nearby, often walked to Lille Flandres side or Town Centre for meals. Service was very responsive, some housekeeping staff were able to speak English. Nice touch at the end with door chocolates upon checkout. Overall a good experience."

"The hotel is newly renovated, and the facilities are very new, but it still has a bit of smell. There is still a lot of room for improvement in details. For example, when you open the toilet lid, there is a dead insect floating in the toilet. There is a large exhaust fan cover lying on the floor in the shower room. When you open the quilt, the sheets are wrinkled like nothing. When you take a shower, the water from the shower head will rush outside, and there will be a stream on the floor of the bathroom after taking a shower... The girl at the front desk changed my king-size bed room to a twin-bed room without asking, and I only found out when I took it out to review it now. The location is quite advantageous, just opposite the train station and the shopping mall, and there is a Carrefour in the shopping mall. The breakfast is very good in the hotel in Lille."
