Super comfortable bed and huge, nice bathroom, it is an old old house so you won’t have perfect clima or sound control but it it was very confortable and we enjoyed it a lot.

Charming place to stay in the super scenic hill town of Monsaraz. This converted set of traditional buildings provides the perfect retreat with outdoor pool and views of the Alentejo plains. Very friends and helpful staff. Super quiet ambience. Walk to the center of the town in 2 minutes.

The location was brilliant, the staff were friendly and the rooms extra special. A beautiful series of buildings with a lovely garden with orange and lemon trees plus a pretty nice pool which had opened on the day we arrived. We thought the breakfast was good as well. We were very happy here.

What a lovely, quirky place! We only stayed one night in the panoramic suite but absolutely loved the place despite the inclement weather (or maybe because of it – the view from our own little rooftop terrace of the clouds chasing each other over the towers of the old town and the vast Alentejo plains was simply stunning and a perfect place to enjoy a glass of red or two!) Our suite was comfortable and extremely quiet at night. The water in the shower was lukewarm at best (would be an issue in winter). The breakfast buffet was adequate and the pool area looked lovely. Parking right in front of the hotel is extremely convenient and staff, especially the lady at reception, were lovely. Dinner at “Os Templários” a couple of minutes’ walk away was delicious. Monsaraz was definitely a highlight of our 2-week trip.

Stunning place in a magic village. Amazing views and friendly staff. Highly recommended. We had a superior room with a fantastic view.Breakfast was typical and good. Recommended for couples. Beautiful garden and pool.
