"Disappointing Stay Despite a Promising Start – L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa, Seychelles. We stayed at L’Escale Resort over Easter, hoping to create special family memories. Upon arrival, the experience began on a positive note—check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The resort itself has an elegant, modern design and initially gave off the impression of a true luxury getaway. We paid USD 8382 (plus 600 for extra bed) for 6 nights. However, things quickly took a turn once we entered our room. The lighting control panel was partially broken—only one of the three panels worked. Several lights didn’t function at all, and a power socket panel was damaged. While the rest of the room looked clean and comfortable, these maintenance issues were disappointing for a resort of this caliber. The following morning, we encountered more problems. Our key card suddenly stopped working after breakfast. We were told this might be because it had been near a phone, which seems like a weak excuse for what is likely a system issue. "A small cozy hotel. Suitable for spending 1-2 nights there before the regatta, not suitable for a longer vacation. There is no beach nearby. The staff is very responsive and friendly. They answer all possible questions, help with calling a taxi. The breakfast is delicious, a choice of several options on the menu."

"Very nice location 5 min walk to Bo Vallon beach, a lot of supermarkets and food outlets nearby. Apartments are new, clean and have everything you need. Staff are super friendly and eager to help you! I highly recommend this hotel, great value for money!"

"I liked everything. The owner is a very kind person. His brother drove me by car, it is much cheaper than taking a taxi. The best beach is 30 minutes away. The hotel is almost at the very top of the mountain, you can enjoy the views."
