Caveat: It seems from reading reviews on another site the problem may lie with one female employee. It is unfortunate I chose a night she was working for a room for my wife during a multi-day road trip. I made the reservation for my wife as she was driving across France and wasn't sure when she would need to sleep. I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. The demeanor of the lady checking my wife in was beyond a Parisian cold. Given what my wife has explained she was just rude. And my wife is someone who never likes to complain about customer service. The coup de gras was her being asked to pay the next morning after I had already paid. My wife thought I had paid on the website but she is not confrontational. Overall, there is another hotel chain in France that shares the name of a bird. I would highly recommend you go there for quick overnight stays. For the same price you will receive the same accomodations but with kinder service. But I must admit there was a lady the next day that we spoke to, Julie, who was very kind. Yet, I will never reserve another room there. In case the staff would like to reply and say this has to do with the restaurant being closed on Sunday, it does not. While we were surprised that it was closed we were prepared and I found my wife a place close by she could stop for a takeaway meal before she arrived at the hotel. Yet I do wonder how your guests eat on a Sunday. If it is as ridiculous as your scoff implied then all restaurants must be closed on Sunday and of course they aren't. Train your people to have some manners. Teach them, no customers, no job.

One or two times a year I spend a night in this city and each time I choose the Nota Bene Hotel for many reasons. The staff is smiling and welcoming, the restaurant serves excellent food with local high quality products, The wine choice is excellent too ! The rooms are well equipped, clean and if you need special attention (like I do because I travel with an old person with low mobility) the hotel staff will do its best to choose for you the most reachable room. All this and more for a modicum price ! In a nutsheel don't bother looking for another place ! Et pourquoi j'ai écrit cet en anglais moi ? ^_^ Non franchement super hotel, foncez !!!

The hotel itself is lovely, nice rooms, nice bar and restaurant. The restaurant food is really good and overall it's fairly nice.... However.... The restaurant service is terrible if you are English and don't really speak French. You will be outright ignored, and will receive no table service whatsoever until they bring your food to you. The breakfast food is nice, and is available 6am-10am, but if you need to be up early, and want to have breakfast between 6 and 6.30, you will have to sit among the cleaners listening to the sounds of vacuum cleaners, and you must like the smell of cleaning products while you eat. Didn't like that at all. For some reason, I felt really awkward staying here, and it's a real shame because the hotel, and the area its in is beautiful. I wouldn't come back here unfortunately. I was pretty disgusted with the guy on the front desk, who, after I greeted and was walking away said "sexy"... that really made me feel even more awkward than I already did. I couldn't wait to leave to be honest.

Séjourné le 28/01/2025. Depuis que je suis inscrit sur ce site (2018), j'ai dormi dans une soixantaine d’hôtels que ce soit pour le boulot ou à titre personnel. Et je dois dire que celui-ci, je le placerai sur le podium. Les chambres sont magnifiques, confortables, avec du rangement, une literie confortable, une salle de bains nickel. La clim' est facilement réglable, l'environnement est calme et dans la chambre on a même un petit frigo et un coffre fort! Il y a suffisamment de prises électriques à disposition (ce qui n'était pas le cas dans plusieurs hôtels dans lesquels j'ai séjourné récemment). Et le plus incroyable dans tout ça, c’est le prix, seulement 61€ pour une nuit (sans petit déjeuner, ce dernier étant le seul petit bémol de cet hôtel, il est cher, environ 15€). A titre d'exemple, si j'avais réservé chez Ibis Budget à Montceau pour un confort bien moindre, j'aurai payé 10€ de plus... Donc une excellente référence que je ne manquerai pas de revenir visiter si je séjourne de nouveau dans le coin

Très belle hôtel, moderne, très bien équipé. Très bon accueil, équipe dynamique. Chambre confortable, chaleureuse et silencieuse. Le restaurant est bon, du choix, et tout aussi chaleureux. Le déjeuner, très bien aussi. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

Hôtel très calme, les chambres sont joliment décorées et très propres. Literie confortable, belle salle de bain,petit frigo et machine à café. Bon rapport qualité /prix. Dommage que le petit déj soit si cher( 15,70) pour des aliments très basiques sauf peut être le vrai jus d'oranges.....

Très bon hôtel *** Propre et bien disposé, service de qualité, design "on the mood", chambres impeccables et bien équipées, bar très complet et buffet petit déjeuner varié (anglais et continental, cafés varia et presse-agrumes), personnel aimable et pro. Il y manque un soupçon de poésie, mais on n'est pas là pour cela et ce n'est pas sa vocation...

Super bon séjour !! La chambre familiale était juste parfaite 👌! Bonne literie, décoration de bon goût, et parfaitement adaptée au famille, calme et propre ! Le fauteuil de massage en accès dans la salle de sport une pépite ! Accueil sympathique la seule note négative le prix de petit déjeuner à 15,80€ un peu excessif mais très bon et varié malgré tout
