Hotel Columbia Wellness & Spa

The hotel has a good location. Internet is terrible. The staff are friendly. The bad thing is they allow pets in all rooms. I have severe allergies and when I found out they let pets in all rooms I had no time to cancel. I was itchy in the night. As animals in the bed could have fleas and fur or dander which is an allergy. I do not understand letting dogs and cats sleep in the bed and on pillows. Animals are not bathed like people. they drool and who knows may urinate in the room.

The hotel position, the external and common areas design are very good and new. The Spa is also new, but is a little small, if crowded you cannot enjoy it. The rooms let us down because are outdated and small, especially the bathroom. the big bed was made with 2 single mattress together, the air condition is too noisy. The breakfast is ok, but a buffet would be better and faster.

Beautiful decor, clean and well-presented. Friendly and efficient staff. The Spa is Beautiful and has all the amenities. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The Spa included hamam, steam room, sauna, pool and optional massages... Allover a wonderful stay.

Rooms very basic, definitely not 4 star. Almost 100 euros per day to use the pool per couple. Food was awful, cold chickpeas, cold white beans, tomato and cucumber were accompaniments to small amounts of protein. Plates of scrambled egg dropped onto tables and being told to share between table off 8!

I love this hotel VERY much. I want to start with the staff. They were all very helpful and accommodating! The breakfast staff were so impressive (they also worked at dinner time). They worked hard at meeting our needs and provided us a beautiful breakfast (and the view as you can see from this photo was amazing too)! The bacon and pancakes were our favorite and we had them every day! Ivan and Basharat stood out as leaders and really worked hard to make sure everything was spot on! Rooms are small but very comfortable and we had everything we need. My bathroom was updated, but my Mother's was a bit older with a terrible "sour" sewer smell that made her entire room smell (4th floor next to the elevator - if you are facing the elevator it is the one on the left). Regarding hotel linens: I really wish you would switch to white comforters and sheets. I felt like the decorated comforters with the big buttons sewn on were too heavy and when they are not white, I can not tell if they are clean. I requested a blanket to use instead and they brought me another matching comforter with the buttons - ;). I feel like white bedding should be a standard in the hotel industry. All of our bedding in the hotels and Airbnb's throughout Italy that we stayed in had white bedding. Other than that, this hotel is very charming and perfectly located. We just walked to the restaurants, gelato shops, coffee shops, shopping, etc. Just perfect in that way. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly! We loved Hotel Columbia and we will be back again (I hope) some day!

Fantastic hotel in a lovely location in Monticati Terme. Amazing kind helpful staff in every area of hotel .nothing was a problem . The breakfast was very plentiful and coffee was fantastic including cappuccino and nice holograms engrained was nice touch. The dinner was fine dining locally sourced ingredients in a wow panoramic dining room.loved the views of surrounding Monticati Alto . Great spa to chill out for few hours . The advice on where to go and see was great 👍 with maps provided. The decor in hotel was very unique The pictures where amazing especially check in desk ,The Van Morrison piece 😀 on reception area . A unique hotel in a very much unique location. Thank you Hotel Colombia. A great stay was had .
