We are a couple from Rome who decided to go to Monteleone di Sabina, a small village 20 km from Rieti. We were hosted by Sergio, a very kind and helpful gentleman who also shuttled us to his beautiful B&B. Very comfortable, beautiful view and above all excellent location, very convenient for moving to nearby villages. :)

We are 4 pilgrims and we had booked one night at this inviting B&B. Too bad the owner calls us at 10pm the day before to tell us that he can't accommodate us due to a plumbing failure. I abstain from any comment, but think about it before booking, especially if like us you travel on foot.

I miei genitori hanno soggiornato in questa struttura mentre percorrevano la via di Francesco da Roma ad Assisi. Il signor Sergio li ha accolti in modo molto ospitale e si è anche prestato al ritiro e consegna dei loro zaini dalla tappa precedente e quella successiva. E' stato davvero molto gentile. Grazie!

Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana in questo B&B accogliente e pulito. La camera è ampia con una bella vista sulla valle sottostante. La zona merita in quanto a pochi minuti di auto di possono raggiungere numerose località tra cui il lago di Turano. Una menzione speciale per Sergio, un host premuroso e gentile, che ci ha fornito indicazioni utilissime per le visite e per i luoghi dove mangiare. Da tornarci.

It was by accident as I didn't know the area, but nothing ever happens by accident! The hospitality, the cordiality, the kindness and then the territory, a real surprise. For those who love nature but also history it is a truly enchanting place. I thank Sergio, the owner of the structure who, always very helpful, directed and advised us on how to move.
