This hostel was located very near Buenes Aires St., and the sea. Hostel offers free coffee and tea and I like about their public area. But rooms was very basic and in the corridor you can easily smell the humidity. The best thing about this hostel is its friendly staffs.

Centrally located: a stone throw from Ciudad Vieja and overlooking the promenade. Very spacious room , with a little balcony and decent bathroom size. There was no option for breakfast, but free coffee was available in the reception area. Staff friendly and attentive.

They cancelled on the day of arrival to make more money with the city packed for the final of the Copa Sudamericana. With great difficulty I managed to get a refund. Now, 6 months later, they have charged my card without any warning. I'm glad I noticed.

The hostel is well located in the historic part, has a good structure and accommodation, however the hygiene of the room for individual accommodation, especially the bathroom, left a lot to be desired. We requested cleaning and even after that it still had stains and cobwebs, they just changed the carpet.

Positive points: the common area is beautiful and pleasant, the service is good and the room has air conditioning. Negative points: I stayed for two nights, and on the second night I woke up covered in insect bites, which itched a lot for several days (the room was closed since it had air conditioning, so it must not have been mosquito bites, but rather some insect from the mattress, that's all I can imagine). There is no kitchen for guests (which is really a big deal since food in Montevideo is absurdly expensive). It is located in the historic center, close to a bus stop and easy to get around the city, but the area is very empty on the weekends, there is almost nothing open nearby. Honestly, I wouldn't go back after the nightmare I had with the bites, which left lumps all over my body for days. It is very different from the Circus in Buenos Aires, which has a very good breakfast, by the way.

O hostel tem uma boa estrutura de quarto para um hostel. Limpeza muito boa, porém como estrutura de cozinha não parece um hostel. Não tem fogão, não tem geladeira e como não tem café da manhã para quem é celíaco, muito ruim. Porque só tem opções com trigo, na parte da manhã. Tem uma atendente maravilhosa que se chama Josefina. Recomendo muito, mas quem quer uma cozinha, não.

Pedimos una habitación privada. Muy cómoda. Los espacios comunes son amplios y con mucha onda. Los/as recepcionistas también! La ubicación nos permitió poder visitar la plaza Independencia a pie y comer por ahí cerca pizza al tacho. A una cuadra de la rambla! Volveremos!
