Spa Hotels in Montevideo

I came to this hotel after switching from of an extremely historic boutique hotel (aka old and smelled of dust) that my travel agent put me in. This hotel had everything you would expect from a boutique hotel. The hotel has a nice vibe, friendly staff, in a trendy, safe neighborhood, rooms done mid-century modern and with many modern and thoughtful amenities. They have those fancy toto bidets, outlets everywhere, good water pressure and beautiful views of the beach from your bed. The only thing missing was being able to open and close the curtains from the push of a button. The breakfast is plentiful with a good selection of breads, fruits and yogurts and a few hot dishes. They have many restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ride away.

One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed at. It is a centenary Palace, richly decorated and preserved. The restaurant is wonderful! I recommend at least 1 night (preferably the 1st or the last) as the hotel is close to the airport.

Right next to the famous attractions, it is already a good local hotel.

This place was perfect in every way. The check-in, the room, the service, and the dining room staff were all wonderful. Our room was clean, the water was hot, and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is ideally located as well. The mall and grocery are within walking distance, and some excellent restaurants are also within walking distance.

Good location, in Punta Carretas, just a few blocs from the ramblas and within walk-in range with restaurants and shopping places. Large rooms, with very good beds. Average breakfast, with few options. The price was very good. The check in experience was not very good, they didn't find the reservation, which was made directly... At the check out, they forgot that we had payed a guarantee of 20% of the stay, and charged the full amount, and had to refund it... Over all very good option in Montevideo.

Very helpful front desk, nice lounge area for watching a futbol game or just reading, bar area, excellent breakfast, and somewhat small room but great bed and bathroom. You can walk in 10 minutes to a beach and walk the Ramba, or use a nice indoor pool. It is located 15-20 min from the old town but in return you can just park your car in front of the hotel, restaurants are convenient, and it is the best location for going to the airport of Puerto del Este.

Decaying hotel and installations. Needs repair/retrofit urgent. The room was terrible: dirty and scratched walls, bed seemed to be recently used (although it seemed clean sheets) or was badly made. The bathroom was old and the floor was dirty the whole experience was a nightmare.

The hotel is a very nice place, different. Recommended to go in a couple to enjoy. there are pools, ping pong games and many common areas to enjoy in addition to a large jacuzzi and the possibility to go to the gym. Although there are few days make good cut with routine
