Lovely two night stay in elegant surroundings- of the house and the spacious garden. But the main standout is the standard of welcome from proprietors Celine and James, not just friendly but attentive and keen to help if needed (eg with local restaurant recommendations/bookings - we had hoped to dine in one night but the chef was away), The breakfast is high quality, notably the home-made preserves. The house is on a moderately busy road but the roadside river-facing room we had benefited from good sound insulation (and air conditioning). Secure parking off-road and on site. You can also enjoy drinks/wine on the terrace, and simple 'jar' meals are available if the dining option is not. Our room was spacious, with plenty of authentic character, in a good way. All in all a very enjoyable stay - we'd go again.

For our family of 6 (3 couples) we had rooms 2, 3 and 7. All rooms were exceptionally appointed, clean and spacious. This is a great experience if you are staying near Amboise and Tours. Celine and her husband were gracious hosts. The back of the hotel faces the Loire river and the river road however each window is well sound proofed. Our 3 rooms all faced the Loire. The only suite on the second floor (#4) faces inward courttard. The hosts have provided a very comfortable experience with a small bar, outdoor patio amd tables, hammock and bikes. There is also a hottub located in the back of the property. Breakfast is included and was delightful with fruit, pastries, cereals and juices (tablecloth). Breakfast is only served after 8:30. There is no lunch or dinner service but occasionally they have a chef prepare a dinner.

We were accepted very warmly by the owner, that helped us to get to the rooms. The rooms were beautiful clean and functional. they explained patiently where when we can get late diner. Next morning they gave us tip to haw to plan our trip ad where to visit. breakfast was fantastic. Almost all home made and many fruits. Any problem we had, help was immediate. before we left we were in love with the owners family and the place. very recommended. we will definitely return.

Herzliche Begrüssung, toller Service, hundefreundlich und alternatives Frühstücks-Angebot für Vegetarier/Veganer! Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und mit Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher ausgestattet. Ein grosser wunderschönen Garten ist auch vorhanden!

Une nuit parfaite dans un cadre enchanteur. La literie est excellente, il y fait bien chaud en hiver et la deco magnifique, pas une fausse note !! Ayant réservé tardivement il n'était pas possible de profiter de la table d'hôtes mais grâce aux "bocaux" nous avons parfaitement dîne d'un parmentier de canard , et d'un crumble aux pommes. Nous essaierons de revenir aux beaux jours pour profiter du jardin. Un très grand merci. Pierre et Sylvie

Maison d'hôtes parfaitement située pour visiter châteaux et vignobles. Nous y avons passé une soirée et une nuit cocooning parfaite. La maison est très jolie, les chambres sont immenses, très confortables et joliment décorées, les confitures maison et le pain délicieux pour le petit déjeuner. Allez y les yeux fermés en toutes saisons . Nous reviendrons !!

4 nuits aux Manoir pour visiter les plus beaux Châteaux de la Loire. Le Clos du Roc est parfaitement dans le thème, séjour Vie de Château avec la très belle suite Le Trianon. Espace, confort, literie, sdb, décoration soignée, accueil des hôtes très bien, Dîner délicieux, un Havre de Paix et de confort , plus que parfait. Nous sommes très satisfaits de la qualité de notre séjour.
