I feel that every time I book a room with Ctrip, the location given is a bit bad! The room we were given was on the second floor, which should be the lowest floor, and it took a long walk to get to the room. The map given was also inaccurate, and I had to knock on other people's windows in the rain several times to ask for directions. Now I have sent a map to find this hotel, I hope that next time someone comes to this hotel, it can be used, so that they don't have to go the wrong way again

The room was okay. It was very cold when I checked in. I thought there was no heating. When I opened the air conditioner vents, no hot air came out. The heater was next to the window sill. It took an hour or two to warm up. I booked the room through prepaid RMB through Ctrip. When I checked out, the front desk I was charged Canadian dollars again. If you don’t speak English well, you may not be able to explain clearly. Fortunately, the money was returned in the end. However, in the winter, there are green ducks and swimming pools outside the house, which is quite magical.

Overall, it’s a really nice place to stay. Although the room is a little small, it was clean and the staffs were very friendly. The location of the hotel is extremely good that you can get to the Notre-Dame Basilica on foot, and it’s near to both green and orange metro lines.

My partner and I took a spontaneous trip and were looking essentially for somewhere to crash as we came and went. For the price, Travelodge does the job. I read complaints that the rooms were “too small” but for a couple, we found that we did not need more space than we got. It was not spacious by any means, but we weren’t cramped either. The location is great, Chinatown is right down the road (with great food and places to check out) and there is good nightlife within a 5-10 minute walk. For our demographic, this was a great place to stay. One thing that my partner minded (but I didn’t) was that the breakfast available was only cold, and mostly prepackaged. There were no scrambled eggs, protein, etc. and while it held me over for a few hours, my partner is more picky than I am. We ended up not utilizing our second (included) breakfast and went elsewhere. If you’re looking for a good budget hotel, this will likely not disappoint.

There is an attached restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which provides a continental breakfast. It costs 11 knives per person (approximately). Then you can choose your own food with milk (cold), morning cereals, bagels, bacon, sausages, yogurt and fruit. You can also order your own breakfast. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to Notre Dame Cathedral in Montreal, and also very close to Chinatown. The breakfast in the hotel is average, and the bed is too soft for my old waist. Everything else is okay!

This hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed. Great location with metro /bus station nearby, modern bedrooms, very clean, 24h reception, free coffee/tea, huge and clean kitchen, plenty of common spaces, a terrace with 2 jacuzzis that stay opened until 22pm! The hostel also has an underground bar and proposes several activities on each day of the week, i.e. park walking, dancing night, beer pong tournament. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
