This is more a resort then a normal hotel. with good facilities .
Even though it is more then 20 years old it is still o'kay and is currently being updated and renovated.
Back when it first opened ,it was probably the best resort in all of Sri Lanka!!
Quiet location ,a bit out of town ,but easy to get a Tuk Tuk to get around.
it is about 2 hours by bus from Colombo ,or probably quicker by train ........ but not as much fun!
Staff where freindly and helpful if needed.

The experience was very bad. I booked the hotel early, but when I arrived at the local hotel, I was told that there was no reservation information. A large group of people were waiting at the front desk. It was very bad. The entire communication was back and forth between three parties. What’s even more outrageous is that one of the bookings has no room. I never thought that a platform as big as Ctrip would make this mistake. Beruwala is hot this season and mosquitoes bite in the evening. The final solution is also terrible. I have never dared to do so again. Booked an overseas hotel on Ctrip.

Our stay was truly exceptional, with a highlight being the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience, Well maintained rooms with comfortable bedding and modern amenities. Food wise, there was a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Been a sri lankan and having hoppers a lot i loved and enjoyed the hoppers the best with that banging seeni sambol.

Our stay here has been fantastic. The staff are all really helpful and friendly, particularly Mina on reception who was available every day and very attentive. It is on the beach and so great to swim either there or in the pool. We decided to go all inclusive when we arrived and it was worth it. The buffet restaurant served excellent food.

Suuuuperb! This place is hands-down our favorite. Our second time here. The beach, the sunsets, the facilities, the service - everything was spot on and exactly what we’d hoped for. Huge shoutout to Frank at the front desk for making check-in and check-out a smooth experience and for always being super helpful with any questions we had. Would recommend this place any day! Just one tiny request for breakfast - can we please get chili con carne on more days?! It’s that good. Seriously, we’re obsessed.

Me and my wife went for 2 nights full board on December. Love their lobby design, food, friendly staff and specially the smell of room fragrance. We had a couple of chats with few staff members during our stay and all of them were nice to us, we met a newly joined waitress with less than one week of experience, but her hospitality was so nice. Even they had so many guests during our stay they were manage the restaurant very well and we enjoyed the food very well. Also, I would love to add few words of their rooms. Nice design, well cleaned, safe and we had a nice view. This gives us a feeling to visit their other hotel in Dambulla and we hope to visit that one soon.

A fantastic hotel with exceptional service!!! Kids friendly! The private beach gives access to a phenomenal sunset and it is a stone's throw away from the hotel's main pool. The spread at breakfast and dinner was satisfying with good tasting food. The property is well maintained and I would definitely recommend the same for anyone's stay!
