Delfinia Hotel

This is a nice hotel with well looked after gardens and is right on the beach and within walking distance of a number of bars and restaurants . This makes the location good especially if you want to be right on the beach. However the beach is probably no wider than 20ft but is long enough to have maybe 20 or 30 umbrellas and sun beds. To get a sunbed was a case of getting up early with your towels and claiming your spot. Clearly not enough sun beds but plenty of space for them. It’s also very clean from what I saw of the public areas. The staff weren’t over friendly and sometimes managed a smile when you spoke to them in passing. Having said that the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was ok but the food was pretty much the same every night and was a little bland. The salad choices were very good and were fresh and plentiful. The dessert choices were ok but mostly all tasted the same. The bar area wasn’t particularly exciting and quite frankly didn’t really have any atmosphere which was a shame I think the cost of the drinks didn’t help and in my opinion should have been cheaper esp for hotel guests. The room wasn’t that big and storage for clothes very poor. No tea coffee making facilities?? Yet you did get a telephone next to the toilet as well as one next to the bed which was very odd!! ?? There’s a safe in the room but there’s a €20 charge which is in my opinion disgusting especially as when you check in you sign a waver basically saying if anything goes missing the hotel aren’t responsible!! If you hire a car there’s plenty of free parking at the hotel. You also have to pay for beach towels!?

We were delighted with the newly renovated hotel complex right on the beach, connected to a beautiful well-kept garden. Comfortable accommodation with perfect daily cleaning and always smiling staff. Tasty breakfasts and dinners with a wide selection were excellent with the option of serving on the terrace or in the air-conditioned area. Our stay was made more enjoyable by the friendly staff led by the perfect Dionysos and his brilliant colleague Fotini. We can definitely recommend it, We will be happy to come back here.

Just spent a week in Delfinia. Hotel's setting is lovely - right on the blue flag beach with nice well kept gardens and decent size pool. Staff is very friendly. The main areas of the hotel are very clean, however, room cleanliness is very inconsistent- floors are swept, but never mopped, towels removed and not replaced, cleaning cloths left in the room.... Food is decent, but quite repetitive. If you are looking for burgers and chips, pizza or chicken nuggets then this hotel is not for you. There is no water available with evening meal. Drinks prices are extremely high. The same applies to the drinks in the beach bar hence it is always empty as there are plenty nice bars and restaurants short walk away along the beach. There is also a supermarket opposite the hotel's entrance.

We stayed here after a cruise for 3 nights & it was the best 3 days of the holiday. Hotel was beautiful, room was perfect, staff were lovely. The breakfast buffet was great, we didn’t eat evening meals there. The beach at the hotel was good, lots of sun beds available. Nice walk from hotel along the beach with other bars & restaurants. Would definitely recommend & hope to return.

Lovely setting with beach, pool and gardens. Clean rooms, with air con and Wifi all working well. The hotel was directly on the beach, with its own sunbeds. However there didn’t seem to be enough beds for everyone so usual dash in the morning to reserve them. We had a lovely room (723) that had great views of the beach and the distant hills. There’s a fly screen on the balcony which was great. Great location , gardens reach onto beach, very clean pool area. Local to plenty of restaurants and bars within 10 mins walk. Drinks prices in hotels beach bar a bit overpriced but probably paying for beach setting. Generally quiet as there is not a lot to do in the area either day or night. Bar had entertainment on most evenings. Food, OK. Breakfast has reasonable choice but Dinner was average and lacked a bit of choice & quality, for me. For a 4 star hotel, I would say the food was average.

This hotel was lovely. Clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room was modern, quiet with a lovely view of pool and sea beyond. (Room 417) Good choice of food, always found something we liked. The desserts were lush. Short walk into village where there are a few shops and supermarkets. Plenty of sunbeds, a large stack that you can place in the gardens or on the beach, no charge. We took the hotel shuttle into Corfu town, 15 euro return each. Lots of places to have lunch a short walk along the beachfront or a drink in the evening. (We were half board) The only negative is that at dinner, if you want water the only option is a large bottle for 3 euros. Shame there wasn't the option for a small bottle. All in all a lovely, relaxing, chilled out holiday.
