Had a two night stay. The owners were very friendly and gave suggestions where to eat in Morecambe. The breakfast was lovely, and serving time was flexible. The room was very clean. Managed to park close and it wasn’t too far to walk into town. I would have no hesitation recommending The Sanderling.

We booked two rooms at this B&B to visit friends only to check in and be told the owner was in hospital and we couldn't have breakfast one of our rooms were reduced by £15 instead of £32 for the both, the bar was also closed. The bedding was clean as well as the towels but the overall cleanliness was terrible and the pictures on *********** must have been taken years ago, also the food hygiene rating was from 2014 so glad we didn't have breakfast. We will not be staying here again sorry. Just compere the pictures yourself

Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room Hairs in the bed no mattress cover and it was badly stained The owners came across as rude and offish and they seemed to look down at everyone The lady spoke to her staff so rudley and we had to ask her not to do it in front of us Breakfast tasteless cheap ingredients should use local ingredients In the bar we had to mention the pints of beer were not full but only 3/4 had to ask for top up every time one way of making money I suppose

Dave and meru the hosts were really friendly the rooms were clean the breakfast was great. We had a great night's sleep. The little seated area at front was a right sun trap would definitely visit again a short walk to the promenade we stayed for 2 nights

A fresh room Kind hosts Great little bar too. Comfortable beds Immaculate rooms and bathrooms Near to the town and the front . Parking is limited but with time you find a spot Highly recommended 💢😁💢😁💢

I stayed overnight before catching IOM ferry from Heysham. This is a comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation with a good breakfast, ideally situated in Morecambe. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Recommend for overnight or a short stay.

Me n partner just stayed for two nights spotless place nice little bar area great hosts and the best breakfast I’ve ever had very tasty and hot . a couple of pubs near by near to front and 10/15 minute walk to centre shame weather not to good but would definitely return thanks 👍👍🍺🍺🍺

Exactly what I expected. No frills, clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. I had to leave early so couldn't sample breakfast. You get exactly what you pay for. Parking could be difficult in high season, I suspect. No complaints.
