The facilities in the hotel and the rooms do not (any longer) correspond to a 4-star hotel. There were too few staff at the breakfast buffet and they did not speak German, so missing delicacies were not replenished or were replenished too late.

We rented 2 studios for our ski holiday at "Im Günen". 1x upgrade to a corner studio - thank you! The corner studio 321 was good for three people to eat in. It had enough crockery and cutlery. Unfortunately no fondue or raclette equipment. We didn't eat in studio 523. Corner studio mattresses OK, studio mattresses quite worn. It was great that we were allowed to go to the saltwater spa for free and that there was a ski bus to the front of the house. In the evening it could be offered a little later so that you can ski until the end. (But there is the option of paying to be picked up anyway.) The breakfast buffet for 15.- was very good and varied. If you can't find an apartment on the Alp, these apartments are a good alternative.

Magnificent stay in this magical place. The salt water pool is a treat. The full massage did me a world of good after 2 days of intensive walking. The staff are lovely, helpful and very welcoming. The cleanliness and comfort of the apartments adjoining the hotel, the generous breakfast. Hikes to Riederalp, Bettmeralp, Moosflu, and this magnificent panorama overlooking the Aletsch glacier. For me it is still the best vacation compared to other supposedly better rated places..... I can only recommend it. Thanks to all the staff and see you soon.

Terrible service. This hotel is linked to “Wallis Apartments”. The apartments are more than dilapidated, shabby and very old in terms of decoration (the impression of being at my great-grandmother's house). There is no reception so the management of the apartments is very poorly organized. I didn't know where to return my keys in the end, I had to give them to a cleaning lady, the hotel then blames me for not having paid the tourist tax. However, no information is transmitted. I had to pay them by IBAN which cost me 20th more for a transfer abroad (which was only €7!!!). Subsequently, they made defamatory remarks explaining to me that I did not pay. Furthermore, a great scam, to be avoided!!! This was and will remain a big black spot in our stay because all the OTHER hotel/travel services during our stay were much, much superior.

Simple furnishings, but very clean, kitchen equipment could be a bit bigger, very friendly staff, works great with the ski bus, if necessary it runs twice, always parking spaces available, no long search
