We could not recommend this hotel more highly. They could not have been more helpful when we had to relocate from our chalet to the hotel in the middle of the night due to a local forest fire, and they made sure we always had the latest updates from the local emergency services in the following days. We were put up in an apartment which was perfect for us, and we even took advantage of the spa facilities which were wonderful. Our thanks to to everyone at the hotel for taking such good care of us.

The best thing about this hotel is the driver of the shuttle, since transportation is included in the hotel fee (the hotel has no restaurant and especially in the evening is tricky to come back in the dark, since the hotel is uphill). He is kind and hard working. Breakfast was also good, but what I did not like was the person at the reception, who I think was the owner. So rude and, as per Swiss culture, totally not flexible when we requested to be given information on other moment.

perfect room but disappointed with the swimming pool, I was also expecting a restaurant but there wasn't one so we had to go out and go down to the restaurants (only a few)

Spacious rooms, everyone very friendly, excellent shuttle service from/to the train station, gondola or restaurant. Nice little sauna and large saltwater pool. Some of the facilities are no longer modern ("vintage"), but that didn't bother us. Very good alternative if you don't want to stay directly in the ski area. Massage service is also highly recommended.

Beautiful rooms with terrace. Bathroom functional, but in need of renovation. Breakfast buffet and free coffee and tea corner excellent! Service polite and courteous. Downside: stain on bedside table not identifiable and hotel response petty... Otherwise completely satisfied!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and matched the pictures. It's not the newest or most modern but the staff are very attentive and the offer of free coffee or the shuttle to dinner or the gondola is not a given. They also recommended restaurants for dinner, which were also really good. The saltwater pool and the small but nice sauna were also great and you could relax wonderfully. The breakfast was delicious and there was a very large selection. Thank you :):):) The location is great and the Aletsch ski area even more so.
