Castle View Bed and Breakfast

The owners pride in their bnb is obvious. We were in the garden room, a self contained unit below ground floor with its own small yard. It had everything you'd want for a short stay and the owners even did us a complimentary cold breakfast basket as we hadnt booked breakfast (altho we did on our last day). The shower was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the room was warm and spotlessly clean. The breakfast room looks lovely. Carmen gave us a friendly welcome with plenty of info. Parking across the road with the disk was simple as we were out all day and the place is located a short walk from Morpeth town with plenty of restaurants. It also backs onto a shopping area. Our thanks to the hosts. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We can’t recommend Castle View highly enough and if we return to Northumberland we won’t be looking for anywhere else! Carmen and Dave were warm, friendly and amazing hosts. The room was beautifully restored, the beds so comfy and they had thought of everything that could be needed by their guests. The little touches made it really stand out. Breakfast was just as lovely. The dining room was bright and homely and the choices of breakfast were plentiful, all cooked to order and very tasty. Huge thank you. Sue.

Fantastic property, great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating, going that extra mile. Breakfast was 10/10, loved our experience here, highly recommended. Keep up the great work.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay. Castle View is absolutely stunning, they have put lots of love and hard work into it. Everything you need was provided in your room, lots of extra touches. The little kitchen is great, the choice is there if you want to make yourself something to eat and nice little touch fresh milk in the fridge. The bed and bedding are top quality, best sleep I have had in a long time !! Breakfast was beautiful, freshly made and good produce. Carmen is lovely, very accommodating. We loved our chats, and of course we can’t forget wee Milo. We will definitely be back, can’t wait to return to this wee gem

We stayed here on our first trip to Morpeth and it was nice to return and see all the modern updates that Carmen and Dave have made to the place. The location is ideal as you can walk to everything in the area, shops, restaurants etc. The Garden apartment was spotless and had everything we needed from a king bed to kitchenette, sitting area and outdoor space. Carmen has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable - everything! An added bonus was meeting Milo. This is the best place to stay when in Morpeth, we will return and send our friends and family.

What a lovely place to stay! Castle View is on a quiet street right in the centre of Morpeth and in a lovely old building that the owners have spent a lot of time and effort renovating, updating and getting just right. The rooms are beautifully fitted out with ensuite bathrooms and mini kitchens. You can park overnight just across the street so unless you're planning on leaving the car all day, it's very convenient. Breakfast is freshly made and tasty. The rooms come with a fridge and microwave so if you bring home leftovers you can heat them up any time. The owners are welcoming and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
