Firstly I need to say the hotel is really nice and the price-to-value ratio is great. It is hard to find such a good hotel in that location, in Morro Jable, with AI in that price. The biggest advantages are: wonderful staff (shoutout for Mandy from reception desk, animator, waiters and technical team who totally replaced our shower in just 1h), very nice garden, warm pool (the second one was much colder in Feb 2025), plenty of sunbeds, top-notch cleanliness, amazing location near beach and the Morro Jable center. Other positives are really good all-inclusive package (however sometimes it was not clear even for the staff if something is or is not included in AI), pretty good food (choice is moderate however the quality is really good), live music in the evenings. There are howerver a few things to be improved. Firstly the hotel main building and rooms have to be refurbished. The rooms are very clean, but the renovation is a must, as the furnitures are really dated. Second thing is rather a "nice-to-have": it would be worth to start breakfasts (even only cold food) a little bit earlier e.g. at 7:30 instead of 8:00 as if you are planning e.g. trekking just after breakfast - it will be pretty late. All in all it is a really good hotel with a great team in a wonderful location. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

IFA Altamarena is a true oasis of hospitality! The staff is so warm and welcoming that you might think every guest is a long-lost amigo. Always smiling, helpful, and as fast as the Fuerteventura wind! Sometimes I felt like they anticipated my needs before I even knew them myself. With them, you can feel like you're in a good home—just with palm trees, sun and the ocean outside your door. Viva la buena atención! 🌴🍹

Not a child friendly hotel, the only food for children is pizza and chips. We were a group of 7, but struggled to get a table together in the dining room. Our room has only been cleaned once in the week we have been here and the balcony hasn’t been swept at all. We have been coming to this hotel for he past 15 years but will not return after this trip

Lovely hotel and staff in a brilliant location Warm welcome on arrival by a lovely receptionist the rooms are modern extremely clean the pools and patio areas and sun beds are clean and plentiful All the staff are so polite and friendly always happy The AI food was very good the self service water dispenser tea coffee machines soft drinks beer and wine available most of the day is a great idea You want for nothing at this hotel everything is great A couple of minutes walk to beautiful beaches bars and shops We have stayed at a few hotels in Moro jabble in Jandia and this is far the best hotel and we visit Fuerteventra many times and will always book this one now in the future

Great value for money. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and entire hotel and room were maintained to a very high standard, very clean! Food was very typical for all inclusive resort. However, very limited vegetarian options. Also, the description labels for the dishes were a little vague e.g. “tagliatelle nature”, would be super helpful if they could add a little green ‘v’ or something similar to the labels to make it clear which options are suitable for vegetarians. One of the nights, there was very loud music playing until 5.30am, staff were very apologetic about this but as it was coming from the nightclub across the street, and it was the weekend, there was nothing they could do. Luckily, it was only one sleepless night we had, I would recommend that you ask for a sea-facing room to avoid this! Despite the negatives, we had a lovely time here.

Great location , but road facing rooms occasionally very noisy. Good food and drinks. Our group loved the self serve beer , wines,soft drinks and coffee / tea in restaurant and bars . Great staff Very clean and tidy . One small gripe , no thermostatic showers in this quality hotel . Would recommend.

The hotel has all I needed for the stay. Rooms are very comfortable, and there is variety of very tasty food. The Staff is nice and helpful (sometimes even funny :) ) and speak english or german. We had a room with a view on street (and to some mountain) - but it is not a problem at all, the courtains protect well from noise. The room and bathroom are quite big, and beds are comfortable. There are some bands playing in the evening, so one can dance if feels like it. There is one pool with warm water - it is pretty shalow for sport swimming, but enough to get some relax. The best thing about hotel is it's location - very close to beautiful beach, and to shopping center.

Food hygiene needs to be addressed. Dont expect gourmet food when going all-inclusive but food served was awful and at times inedible. Undercooked/overcooked meats, ungloved hands touching food,no allergy labels, fresh food put on top of food displayed for hours. Health/safety re food below standard. Staff work extremely hard. Perhaps a review of training may help? While hotel is dated bedrooms were cleaned daily....well done housekeeping much appreciated. Hotel location perfect.
