We stayed for a week AI with a premium drinks package. Great hotel, lovely staff, plenty of choice to eat, plentiful buffet of fresh local food, free flow wine and beer with premium soft drinks and cocktail’s. There is something for everyone here to eat, including a free snack bar by the pool all day. Breakfast had omelettes, eggs, beautiful bread, fruit, cereals, continental cheese, cold cuts etc Lunch and dinner varied every day with plenty of choice. We stayed in a lovely suite, it was spotless and well maintained. The hotel is 90’s style which I found charming, if you want a super modern hotel, look elsewhere and pay a lot more. Entertainment every night provided by singers of a good standard. Walking distance to the beautiful beach and great shopping area across the street. 15 mins walk to the old town or €4 taxi right outside the door. I would recommend this hotel.

Do not stay if you want to have nice time ! Hotel extremely run down , and it smells like retirement place! If you want bottled water or "better"spirits you'll have to pay additional charge for "the golden band" which I suppose gives you privilege of bottled water . You'll have to pay for your ice cream too, in this all inclusive hotel ... booked double bed ,got 2 singles pushed together - apparently not even one room with actual double bed in this hotel .... interesting ! Receptionist didn't bother explaining anything about the hotel , but kindly suggested to download the app who would... And this is only the first night at this 4 start hotel

A bit late writing this, but what can I say? The hotel is in a fantastic setting. Minutes away from a beautiful sandy beach and local shops. The hotel itself i can not fault one bit. All the staff, from the receptionist to the cleaners, to the kitchen staff were all very friendly. Especially with my children (aged 6&2). Even when my 2 year old son threw and tantrum and broke some salt and pepper pots. My wife and I were very apologetic and offered to clean up. But the staff were really nice about it all. (Apologies again!) I'm teaching my children some basic Spanish and they would say 'Hola' to the cleaners every day. In which the cleaners would wave back with a lovely smile. The hotel has 3 pools - 1 which is heated that is a bonus with plenty of sun loungers. Constant food available with plenty of choice and drinks including beer and wine on tap that you can help yourself to which we loved! Also if you want to visit the Oasis wildlife park, a coach picks you up directly outside the hotel. A return trip for only €5 - amazing! We loved our stay here and will definitely return again in the near future.

Firstly I need to say the hotel is really nice and the price-to-value ratio is great. It is hard to find such a good hotel in that location, in Morro Jable, with AI in that price. The biggest advantages are: wonderful staff (shoutout for Mandy from reception desk, animator, waiters and technical team who totally replaced our shower in just 1h), very nice garden, warm pool (the second one was much colder in Feb 2025), plenty of sunbeds, top-notch cleanliness, amazing location near beach and the Morro Jable center. Other positives are really good all-inclusive package (however sometimes it was not clear even for the staff if something is or is not included in AI), pretty good food (choice is moderate however the quality is really good), live music in the evenings. There are howerver a few things to be improved. Firstly the hotel main building and rooms have to be refurbished. The rooms are very clean, but the renovation is a must, as the furnitures are really dated. Second thing is rather a "nice-to-have": it would be worth to start breakfasts (even only cold food) a little bit earlier e.g. at 7:30 instead of 8:00 as if you are planning e.g. trekking just after breakfast - it will be pretty late. All in all it is a really good hotel with a great team in a wonderful location. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

IFA Altamarena is a true oasis of hospitality! The staff is so warm and welcoming that you might think every guest is a long-lost amigo. Always smiling, helpful, and as fast as the Fuerteventura wind! Sometimes I felt like they anticipated my needs before I even knew them myself. With them, you can feel like you're in a good home—just with palm trees, sun and the ocean outside your door. Viva la buena atención!

The Good - The rooms, pool area & restaurant are clean & staff in all areas work hard & are helpful. The Bad - The FOOD IS VERY POOR mainly the meat & fish to say its a 4* the food is not good for this reason we would not return. Location is great right next to the gorgeous beach. We have been to Jandia many times but usually stay in the Riu Calypso where the food is excellent. The drinks were ok but not one Cocktail was included in the AL inc. They want you to pay 18 euros for a premium package on top of the cost of your holiday. No ice cteams or bottled water were included either. The entertainment was good but the HUT is run down, dark & dismal i think it needs brightening up & painting a brighter colour. The rooms are dated & no double bed but they were very clean. We would not return i think if the quality of the food was improved then maybe!

Stayed at this hotel for my first solo trip. Resort is nice with lovely sandy beaches. Hotel is well equipped, no shortage of sun loungers. Plenty of souvenir and other shops nearby. Beach is 5 mins from the hotel. There are some nice restaurants and bars which are approx 15 mins walk away. Room was ok. It had a safe at an incremental cost. Bar well stocked. Entertainment staff on site for exercise and other activities. Food was ok, not the best all inclusive I’ve had but it met the need. I enjoyed my stay but if I returned to the resort, I’d probably stay closer to the restaurants and bars.

A fabulous hotel steeped in history. The staff are so attentive in service with quality. The quality of menus throughout the day is a testament to the chefs. From reception to housekeeping, I highly commend the high standards set. Bar and food service staff are attentive in their jobs, continuously endeavouring to excel in customer expectations.
