Hotel Rhodos Morzine

This was the most amazing place to stay. The staff were so lovely and the food was so delicious. The room was cute and tidy. We would defo go again. The food was some of the best food I’ve ever had! I would recommend eating elsewhere if a big football match is on.

Fantastic location. Staff super friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and fun. Shout out to Dominique who helped us with all ski information and services with a smile :) Excellent value for money. Continental breakfast was fresh and the half board evening meal delicious. Very accommodating for our daughters gluten free and vegetarian dietary requirements. Hotel was clean and comfy. Will happily return.

Excellent central location.Bus stop, ski hire and supermarket close by and close proximity to a variety of different restaurants. Very friendly staff.Breakfast is fine.Room small but clean and views from balcony stunning! Good storage for ski equipment. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Just returned from a 6 night stay at Les Rhodos travelling with 4 grown up children and another couple. We had 2 small doubles and 2 twins. We were able to check in slightly earlier than 4pm which was helpful. Reception is in the bar. There is no lift and we were on the top floor (3rd) but it wasn’t an issue for us. Bear in mind though if you have mobility issues or would struggle carrying cases. The small doubles were small and the only issue we had with this is that there were no drawers and few hangers so we had to live out of the suitcase which took up a good deal of the floor space. The room was clean, the bed comfy and a great supply of very hot water. We went half-board which was a continental breakfast, bread, cheese, ham, pastries, cereal, boiled eggs, juice and coffee. Evening meals were amazing! 3 courses. Starter examples were terrine, calamari, nachos, French onion soup, and mains which were chicken pasta, ribs, chilli, curry and duck. Deserts were a variety of cakes/flans. It was delicious and there were no complaints from anyone in our group even though a couple are fussy eaters. The serving/bar staff were all really nice and friendly especially the dark haired lady from Sweden (sorry, didn’t catch her name). The hotel is above a bar/restaurant which doesn’t close until 2am. If you are a light sleeper or bothered by a bit of noise when the bar closes this is not the place for you. However, if you enjoy watching sport and having a few pints after a hard day on the slopes then you’ll love Les Rohdos! It is a short walk away from the Pleney gondola with plenty of restaurants, bars and a supermarket nearby. I am very pleased we decided to book this hotel for our first ski trip and would recommend it to family and friends who wouldn’t be concerned with any of the caveats above.

Stayed at Les Rhodos on a mountain bike trip with some friends. Rooms are basic but decent, beds are quite comfortable. Our room (twin) was very small, which was fine - the bathroom in particular is a tight squeeze but for a short stay it's perfectly OK. The bar downstairs is really nice, evening meals were excellent (we were half board) and our server each night was great. Breakfast - pretty limited, but you can pay extra for a full English. Location is great - right by Bar Robinson, and if you know Morzine, you'll know. For mountain bike facilities I would say Les Rhodos is "OK". The bike storage room is tiny, and there isn't really anywhere sheltered to work on the bikes. There is a bike stand and a jet wash, which is appreciated - but no tools or even a track pump. The hotel doesn't like you to bring dirty clothes and shoes indoors, which is understandable, but there's nowhere really to store them if it's been a bad weather day - there is a little space in the bike storage room but we were the only riders there and we filled it up completely after one wet day. It must be quite difficult during more busy periods. We had a good stay and I would probably book again based on price, location and evening food service - it would just be nice if there were a few more facilities for riders and their bikes. Less of an issue if you are there on perfectly sunny and dry days!

This is the second year I have stayed here and both times I have had a great stay. This hotel is located in a 10 minute walk from the dead centre of Morzine, which is perfect if you want to get involved with the nightlife, but far enough away not suffer with the noise. It has a bus stop 50 yds away which will take you to the Pleney or the Prodains for Avoriaz which means no long walks with ski boots and skis to get to the slopes. It is also opposite Doorstop skis, which is the company I have used for years. Perfect! The hotel itself has a really busy bar which shows sports so generally has a vibrant and lively atmosphere. It is next door to another bar with the same vibe so there is good nights to be had within spitting distance of your room. We stayed half board, breakfast is continental but you can buy other breakfast options at the bar, including eggs benedict (my personal favourite). The dinner option is a three course offering and the couple of nights we were there the dinner was excellent. Tasty, varied and well presented. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Ryan runs an excellent hotel and that's why people go back. I am looking forward to getting back in a couple of weeks.
