Family-friendly Hotels in Mossel Bay

We had booked the royal family room but upon check-in it turned out that the room had already been given to guests who were staying for multiple days. According to the hotel this was due to a system error. We were offered a caboose single room as a replacement. I saw on the trip website that the room was indeed still available and the price for an overnight stay was half of the royal family room. We did not accept this room and after insisting we were given a double royal room. The service, food and location were otherwise good but not getting the room you booked is annoying.

The location of the hotel is very good, next to the sea, there is a beach Free security at the entrance of the parking lot. There are supermarkets around. Pay attention to the business hours. When we arrived, it was Sunday and most shops were closed. The room is clean, but the washbasin is separated from the hot and cold water.
