We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this remote spot. The hotel is perched on a bluff between two bays and the views and location are stunning. All the rooms have a beautiful view of the quiet beach and give you a feel of being immersed in nature. The food is deliciously prepared by Abigail and served on a lovely terrace under mango trees. Also Alice prepares excellent cocktails in the evenings! A lovely spot in rural Grenada.

Don't go here. Sadly this resort has lost its love and charm. Its tired and the staff had very little interest in providing service. The food was poor - no choice for breakfast or dinner and basic. The room was basic and the beach was uncared for. Such a shame.

Terrible, avoid, we left before the end of our holiday. It's a shame because the place seems to have lost it's soul and has lost sight of all the things that past reviews praise it for. It could be such a tranquil get-away but it feels like the people running it can no longer be bothered. It is a long way down a barely passable track, the rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment, there is no effort to make the beach area nice or clean the sunloungers that you have to get out of the shed yourself. There is no choice at dinner and pudding was consistently two scoops of ice cream, other than one night when we got tinned pineapple! It's a real shame.

Arriving at the Cabier Ocean Lodge, my wife and I were greeted by gorgeous flowers and chirping birds. We spent 6 nights here in December and could have easily stayed longer. We stayed in the Crochu Bay Studio which also has a lovely pool overlooking the bay. The lodge is a little off the beaten path, but that's what makes it so beautiful. It's about 45 minutes by car from St. Georges, and we decided to not rent a car for this trip. The lodge provides a driver that will take you wherever you want to go with charges simply added to your final bill, and Japal was a great, and accommodating driver. The staff was lovely. Abigail was always available for our questions, and for helping to set up whatever we needed. Dinner was amazing. We felt like we were getting real, local homecooked meals every night. There is a small beach next to the lodge for tourists and locals. It's a very pretty and quiet beach. The town of Crochu is about a 15 - 20 walk up the road and offers some nice options for food, a bakery, and some local groceries. Cabier is a great place for a quiet getaway. If you are looking for a bustling resort, this is not for you. If you want a gorgeous, quiet getaway where there are local sights well within reach, but you get to come back to your own slice of paradise, you should definitely consider it.

I went down in October for Thanksgiving Day and the 40th anniversary of Operation Urgent Fury. I am so impressed with Cabier Ocean Lodge, Staff, Friendliness, and location I am returning in February to scuba dive. The cleanliness of the whole area is exemplary. And! The food is better than homecooked:).

My husband found this wonderful gem for our Grenada visit. We came down to visit our daughter who is studying @ SGU. We did almost daily trips to True Blue area. Japal was wonderful sharing his island with us. Abigail was amazing as hostess, chef, bartender, housekeeping & coordinating if we needed assistance. As we were there at the beginning of their busy season, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed swimming daily, nightly drinks from the bar, & accommodations. We were in a studio room with kitchenette. My husband enjoyed hiking the area and exploring while waiting for me to wake up. I personally loved the seclusion after being in the busy parts of the island.

What a spectacular experience at Cabier! My friend and I stayed in the Ocean Family Flat for 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. Japal, our taxi driver, took us promptly to our arranged tours (Golden Falls, Turtle Watching, Underwater Sculpture Park), while Kenisha prepared authentic Grenadian meals at the lodge. Cabier beach was absolutely pristine and we cannot thank the staff enough for taking care of us. Don't hesitate to book this hidden gem!
