Hotels near Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Mount Rushmore UT

The room is located halfway up the mountain, clean and free parking. Although there is no breakfast, there is a light meal in the morning. It is very close to the north gate from the hotel. It is more convenient to travel.

The hotel is very old and the air conditioner is very noisy. Although it is very hot at night, it can only be turned off.

First of all being a Wyndham property you would expect better service. Room was very small and cram. Breakfast was a waste of time they ran out quickly. Same breakfast everyday Biscuits and gravy, waffles wirh no syrup. Pool not accessible due to children wild un attend too by parents. The cable went out no one to fix it. No tv to watch Will not stay here again. I might gotten better service at the days Imn

This hotel was in an excellent place to visit Mount Rushmore and the surrounding areas. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The town closes down around 9pm so the only thing lacking was food and entertainment after 9-10pm. There are towns a few miles away that have places that stay open a little later. Plan to take time to eat early and enjoy the town. It’s very cute and there are plenty of fun things to do!

Stayed here for 2 nights out of the 3 we had reserved on our family vacation to Mt. Rushmore. We typically stay in hotels and I thought it would be fun for something different to stay in a cabin. What was nice about it is the location to Mt. Rushmore is awesome, 4.5 miles away. It is also just down the road from the quaint town of Keystone and the restaurant next door is great! It was quiet and peaceful in a pretty setting of pines and a view of the hills from our deck. The owner at check in was super nice and helpful. I liked that they do not bother you during your stay with housekeeping services, if you need something, just ask! What we didn't like about the particular cabin we stayed in was it was basically 2 bedrooms with a shared bath - which the shared bath was just fine. The shower was wonderful, great water pressure and water was good and hot. The TV was in 1 bedroom and the fridge/microwave/coffee maker in the other. So, we all needed to sit on one bed to watch TV and tippy toe into the other room to make morning coffee without waking the people in that bed. It would have been nice to maybe have 2 beds in one room and utilize the other room as a little kitchenette and sitting room for comfortable TV viewing. It was not comfortable in the room, we spent the majority of time on the deck. The beds were hard, which some people like. I slept on the floor the 2nd night and slept better. I was going to give it an average rating but try to be very fair in my reviews, my preferences don't necessarily mean I would not recommend the place. You just have to keep in mind it is a cabin, not the Hilton. My husband described it as a step up from camping. So, if you are campers and enjoy that then you would really like it here and I would recommend it! Like I mentioned before; the location and owner are wonderful and I like to support local businesses when able!

The pool and spa are standard on holiday inn. The hotel is very new. There is an attraction around you called usa bear country with children must go. awesome. The gemstone hole is worth a visit. Passing through the town of Custer has the number one burger in the United States, generally lined up for an hour. The President’s Hill has been finished for a long time. The bad scenery is beautiful.
