"Love the design of the hotel. The room is huge by Penang standard and comes with lots of carpark. We had a really comfortable stay at Sho. The cons is the location which is located slightly away from the Center. The water pressure in the shower is sometimes too low. These are minor problems. Definitely will visit again"

"My friends and I stayed for 3 nights in a Family room. Room layout was great, perfect for what we needed for 3 friends, two of whom were working remotely while in Penang. Nice view from the window. The bathroom was a good size - looked to be a handicap accessible bathroom - but no hooks for hanging anything, and the shower head couldn't be moved up high enough, so it was awkward. Good temperature and pressure, though. Hallways were run down and dirty looking. We booked this hotel also for the breakfast option as well, but that wasn't great - ”hot” food was not actually kept hot despite being in chafing pans that could very well have been heated. Toaster was broken on the 2nd day so one friend had cold bread with butter (probably margarine). Breakfast was set to run from 7am to 10:30am; we went down at around 9am the first morning. The noodle dish was already run out, and we were told there would be no more. Coffee was good and hot. It was fine but overall disappointing. It was an okay stay but not great, and I'm not sure it was worth the price paid. I dont think I'd stay again unless some improvements were made."

"I didnt expect to get very comfortable hotel, with very good cleanliness with no more than myr200 is out of my expectation..keep it up wifi boutique hotel. Will come back again for sure. Plus, this place is 100 metre walking distance to deen maju nasi kandar (one of the famous nasi kandar in penang) which is a bonus."

"We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The unit is spacious, and we really appreciated that the king bedroom could comfortably fit three people — making it suitable even for our group of 6 adults and 1 child. The location is perfect — easy to access and surprisingly no traffic jams in the area. Most Penang attractions and food spots are only about a 10–15-minute drive away, which made exploring really convenient. My coffee place which is constant gardener is not far from here. Anyway, the host was helpful, responsive, and reliable, replying quickly to any questions we had. Both the air conditioning and hot water worked well throughout our stay. Nearby, walking distance from the apartment there is a nice stalls that sell great breakfast with nice malay kuih. On the downside, while basic cleaning was fine, we noticed that some kitchen items like cups and glasses inside the drawers were not properly cleaned, so we had to wash them ourselves. Soap was provided, but given that there’s a cleaning fee, this area could definitely be improved. The towels and pillows were also quite worn out and could use replacement to make the stay more comfortable. Also there is no coway water filter as advertised, so probably it is at other unit but not my unit. The main issue we faced was with the lift during peak hours. On our checkout day, it took an hour waiting that my family ended up taking the stairs from level 23 down to the carpark at level 8! It seems this happens many times and a lot of upset people especially when one of the lifts is used by workers, knowingly many people are stuck Overall, this apartment offers great value for its size, location, and host service, with only minor improvements needed in cleanliness and maintenance and if you can be patient with the waiting lift."

"I booked this because of the gym and swimming pool. It fulfilled all my needs. Also the room was facing the sea where I could even see fireworks one night. The host was incredible as he’s helpful and talks like a friend. The room was clean. Just make sure you bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as it’s not a hotel. Restaurants and night market are 5-10 mins walk to the left once you exit the building."

"Spacious accommodation. Suits for family more than 6 pax. Check in was easy and good direction given. Easy to deal with."

"Overall the experience of the stay is good The space is big, clean and the facility etc. fridge, water dispenser, washing machine, dryer…..are  new and nice. The view from the suite was beautiful too"
