Here our feedback mail to the lodge team: "Our 2024 had been an outstanding challenging one and we needed a real cut. We got it thanks to you all. Especially the first week removed our tension. The location, the food, your service, your friendlyness and obligingness - just outstanding. Even to some of you we got in a more or less personel realationship. And to some of you we´ve had a pleasant direct contact. Those one know who is ment. And we enjoyed it by heart. We had a lot of fluffy days, appreciated your humour and professiolism in treating us as your guests. But at the end it is a result of your well structured team work. A German saying goes "You always meet twice in live." And we´ll try to realise that in perhaps 2 or 3 years." Just one to be commented in addition: it is a location for rather individualists who are looking for seclusion of the mainstream. We enjoyed it be heart. We´ve been there for kitesurfing.

Amazing place, with very friendly staff. Perfect location for some peace and quiet. The food is great. The beach is white and amazingly clean. Mangroves also bring the place to life. You can kayak at dawn as the sun rises. This place is worth every dime.

Maybe one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Very nice property, great service, friendly staff and breathtaking nature. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always fresh quality and delicious. Our new "Secret Escape". We'll definitely come back!

Beautiful private beach, authentically furnished spacious luxury rooms built with natural materials. Unbelievable sea views, delicious meals and perfect coffee! The location couldn't be better! This is an ideal getaway for couples and families who want to stay away from mass tourism and immerse themselves in nature. Shimoni is the best kite surfing location and snorkeling spot in Kenya, teeming with dolphins and turtles. The love and attention to detail put in everything is the cherry on the cake. Expect to meet friendly faces all day! The staff are happy and available to assist but not too pushy. It was a pleasure chatting to the amazing owners; Tino & Christoph who were the most gracious of hosts. I will be back!

Sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt. Wir waren im April 2025 10 Tage hier. Da es Regenzeit war hat es auch an 2 Tagen geregnet. Trotzdem natürlich sehr warm und ich habe die Klimaanlage gebraucht. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer luxuriös und sehr ruhig. Das Essen auch sehr lecker. Interessante Ausflüge in der Nähe und eine gute Massage machten dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Relaxen. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Leute sind extrem freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Ist nur 40 km von Diani-Beach entfernt, aber viel ruhiger. Der Meeresnationalpark ist nur 10 Minuten entfernt.

Wunderschöner Ort, es war ein fantastischer Urlaub in der Lodge. Vielseitig, ereignisreich und doch so entspannt. Von Yoga, Kajak, SUP über Ausflüge zur Sandbank und eine Rivertour, bis zum Lagerfeuerabend war alles dabei. Es waren tolle Gäste in der Lodge, sodass wir wirklich gesellige und unterhaltsame Tage und Abende hatten. Das Personal war immer super freundlich, bemüht und gut gelaunt. Das Essen war immer super frisch und lecker. Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick war einzigartig. Das Aufwachen vor dem Panorama und dann der erste Kaffee auf dem Balkon waren wirklich ein Traum. Unvergesslich - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein toller Ort, der zum Abschalten einlädt. Tolle Menschen, tolle Atmosphäre und tolle Natur! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Eine tolle Lagune zum Kiten. Beständiger Wind von Mitte Dez bis Mitte März. 2022/2023 gab es bis heute nur drei Tage an den das Kiten nicht möglich war. Also perfekte Wind Ausbeute. In zwei Tagen habe ich eine von der Lodge aus organisierte Safari gemacht. Diese war ebenso Klasse. Vielen Dank für alles und bis bald! Grüße Tobias

Ein ganz außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt in zauberhafter Umgebung. Die Lodge hat gerade neu eröffnet und wurde wundervoll von dem neuen Inhaber Tino und der Ausstatterin Uli komplett saniert. Sehr geschmackvoll umgesetzt! Die Anhebung des Niveaus ist überall spürbar, trotzdem bleibt das authentische Afrika Feeling. Das Essen ist spitze und die Mitarbeiter allesamt wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Kiten ist herrlich, fernab vom Trubel in einer wahnsinnig schönen Bucht mit flachem Wasser oder etwas weiter draußen mit Welle im Riff. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!!!
