Dorsett Gold Coast

Great location, clean and great service! View was amazing. The only thing was that the beds weren’t that comfortable and the water pressure in the shower could have been better. Overall a great stay!

Booking online with Trip was simple. The Dorsett have clean rooms and staff are lovely, plus it's attached to the Gold Coast ******. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel is equipped for people with disabilities or use a wheelchair. This includes self opening and closing doors, shower and toilet set up with aids that can be pulled out to accommodate needs and there are wheelchair touch buttons for opening the door. I showered before going out and it flooded the bathroom, luckily there were 2 infloor drains. Within 2 mins or asking for maintenance they had a lovely young man up to fix it, then another minute later housekeeping arrived with fresh towels. The maintenance man also gave me a good rundown and recommendations on the restaurant's at the ******. 2 negatives - 1st, it is hard to work out where to park as you use the ****** parking, the carpark directs you where to go but there is no clear signage on where the hotel lifts are. I only knew this from a past visit over 2yrs ago. This is something that needs sorting out. 2nd, the entrance address for the hotel foyer is actually on the ****** entry side, so you drive around looking for it. I now know that instead of turning off onto The Darling Ave, as gps instructed, you take the slip road before The Darling Ave exit. This takes you past the residential tower and to the front of the hotel

( Context - We had a soccer tournament) Great modern place to stay that is central to all the happenings around restaurants, shops (Broadbeach & Pacific Fair), great beaches, grass areas, soccer pitches and BBQ places. The pool is a great addition to chill out on the cushion beds. Would love to have access to sauna & steam room without extra costs, but the gym and outdoor spa (Star Building) were adequate for some post game recovery. We didn't need housekeeping during the 7-day stay, and would have loved to get some offset credits for it, though we got 2 × $10 vouchers at checkout. Highly recommend the place for sure.

We had the best time at the Dorsett. The hotel is connected to the star ****** so all things are just at your fingertips and you can even use the pool and gym amenities. You don't have to leave the premises if you want food or entertainment. The outdoor pool is beautiful and the lawn area would be great for summer nights. Will definitely return again!

Amazing we love it, thank you for your service little surprise for our anniversary celebration - and your staff from front/ housekeeping, manager and Jin cafe is lovely. We will be back. Ps love the ideas of ops out for house keeping and get $10 voucher. We don’t like getting out room done so definitely love it. We got iced matcha latte. From Room 11501 18/09 - 21/09.

The service was incredibly great. The front desk lady responds us very quickly. They provided microwave ovens to room.
