If you ever dreamt of staying in an authentic historical chateau, you can fulfill your dream here. The place is somewhat worn down by all the years, but offers a real feel for an old chateau, with period furniture and decorations. Lovely couple from Lebanon was taking care of us while we were staying there, and they were super friendly and helpful.

This was a bucket list experience for me. Waking up in a chateau in the Loire Valley to a beautiful breakfast in a private room was a dream come true. For my husband who is not so excited about chateau, it was "meh". So, it depends on your perspective. I agree with an earlier review that it has a bit of faded beauty, but I think that's the charm. I wanted to be in a place where I could imagine all the earlier familes who took their breakfast in the same space. We had the Loius XV suite which had ample space for 3 and a gorgeous view. There was plenty of parking. The breakfast was delicious and generous.

Beautiful welcoming chateau on the banks of the Loire. Very comfortable, perhaps you might say ‘faded elegance’. Been in the same family for many generations. Wonderful hosts who could not have done more for us. Huge terrace with plenty of furniture, wonderful to watch the sun go down. Highly recommended.

We had a pleasant stay in a magnificent and calm setting with the singing of little birds. Very warm welcome from Bill and Maria who are kind and welcoming people. Our romantic room was pretty and clean, good bedding and good pillows. Excellent breakfast with good products and delicious pudding. Very good address, I recommend Colliers. Stéphane and Sandra

The hosts are charming; but we would have appreciated being informed that it was not the owners of the castle who were entertaining; this should be specified; when we choose this type of accommodation, it is often for this reason; moreover the cost of the evening meal is excessive, in our opinion; that said, Bill and his wife allowed us to have an excellent time, despite the small imperfections detected. The excellence of this Charming Hotel / Guest House is combined in all areas, starting with the warm welcome that was reserved for us in this sumptuous residence...a small castle (family property for 7 generations) in discover without any hesitation. Our little suite, decorated and furnished in the style that was customary at the time many decades ago, was well appointed, comfortable, enjoying a magnificent view of the Loire, and was of a exemplary cleanliness. The breakfast filled us and delighted us with the large choice of local products offered and presented by the hostess Maria, a charming person and co-manager of the establishment with her husband Bill. A big BRAVO and a big THANK YOU for allowing us to share and enjoy many pleasant moments of quality of life during the 5 days of our stay at Château De Colliers. It could become a pleasant place to stay... Small château with period furnishings. Linen absolutely needs to be renewed. Disinfestation and extraordinary and ordinary maintenance required. Breakfast was overall satisfying and served in a period room of notable importance.
