Ibis Styles Mulhouse Centre Gare

Location: A few steps from Mulhouse train station, it is super convenient when arriving or leaving, but also convenient because many forms of transport (bus, tram, train) are available at limited prices (e.g.: Line C7 for the zoo and botanical gardens). Welcome: Very nice, smiling and pleasant welcome without overdoing it either. The morning staff in the breakfast room are also very pleasant, smiling and attentive. Room: The standard room is comfortable with the necessary equipment. The shower room is very spacious. The bedding is comfortable with a well-appointed bedroom area. There is space to hang clothes, store your things while still enjoying the space. Breakfast: There are several areas including cold cuts/cheese (some are halal), fromage blanc and fruit salad compote, a hot drink area, bread and pastries + some gluten-free items, the fruit juice area and a small hot dish area where I have a special mention for the creamy scrambled eggs. For a "stopover" or a longer stay the hotel is comfortable and practical

A classic Ibis without much personality but with rather spacious functional rooms, the bathroom is equipped with a fairly large shower! Point to note, the welcome, perfect, both arrival and departure with a special mention for the offer of a hot drink offered in the middle of the afternoon! It would be good if other hotels in the Accor group were inspired by it and particularly Novotel or Mercure! The breakfast is unfortunately quite banal, a satisfaction nevertheless concerning the possibility of preparing a croque monsieur with cut products available. I regretted the absence of a choice of loose tea (in bags only 3 choices and no natural green tea) and the absence of fresh fruit except apples (not really in season anymore)!

Passing through Mulhouse on February 18, we chose the ibis style for its proximity to the train station. For the room there is the bare minimum, no kettle, no coffee or tea, the TV is small and the wifi was very bad, we were forced to connect with the 5G of our phone. Only one pillow per person. The breakfast is light, no yogurt, very little fruit, not much choice. For the bar it was really anything, when we ask for a glass of rosé from Provence which was on the menu he didn't know what it was, we ask for a Ricard he brings a glass with the Ricard and the water all mixed together when paying he tells us that the Ricard is 5 euros when it was marked 4 euros on the menu, the height of incompetence we really felt like we were dealing with amateurs. This is not serious. Oh, I forgot, there's nothing in the room to put your suitcase on when you've been through all the stations, having to put your suitcase on the bed to empty it isn't great, and especially in terms of hygiene it's not the best.
