Mullingar Park Hotel

Lovely Hotel, out of town so nice and quiet. Beautiful Entrance. lovely comfortable spacious bedrooms. Comfy bed. Beautiful reception, bar and restaurant space. Nice breakfast options . Nice bar menu with comfortable and ambient surroundings. Would be happy to recommend.

After a second stay in the Hotel which was gifted to us because we complained about the dirt off the spa changing facilities and room we are disappointed again. Had high expectations after being told it had been given a deep clean but on the Friday around 5 pm most of the dirt in showers was still remaining and I hadn’t use the toilet on my previous visit but this time I couldn’t believe the dirt also. There was toilet paper stuck around the toilet brush, urine stains that definitely seemed like they were there for awhile. On the Saturday morning we came down for a swim again and absolutely nothing had changed from the previous day. I had previously been told that these facilities were being updated soon but that is no excuse why they are not cleaned on a daily basis also in the bar we did have lovely food but they only sell rosé wine by the full bottle one being €30+ and the other being €50+. They don’t serve it by the glass or small bottle as I only normally have one or two glasses. I wasn’t going to pay for a full bottle. Staff were all very friendly the breakfast is beautiful. Our room was nice and it was clean this time, but there was what sounded like a boiler continuously going through our stay which was very annoying, luckily I had brought earplugs but my husband hadn’t. Not the cheapest hotel to stay and I travelled 90 minutes to get there only to be disappointed again !!!!

An amazing stay with the most hospitable staff, in a beautiful hotel. There is delicious food and a relaxing bar area as well as the lovely pool for a dip. We also had the amazing experience of watching Christy Moore here. Fabulous will definitely return.

Myself and my partner have been coming to this hotel for our anniversary for the last 5 years, for the last two years we have had our daughter of 2 along with us, the staff are phenomenal, even little things like providing colouring books for our daughter while we had dinner, it doesn't sound like much but it goes along way,the service is great , I do understand busy nights and functions can delay service, it's the same all over to be fair, great hotel to come visit Mullingar with plenty to do with the family,

Went to the pool with my sister as a guest, Saturday 25th, 20 euros which I thought was a bit steep. Asked for a towel, no problem. Went on Sunday but this time they wanted FIVE euros for the use of the towel. I have never been asked to pay for the use of a towel at any hotel I’ve visited, seems like pure greed to me.

Very nice and well run hotel,the room was a bit dated with limited sockets and no USB options to charge phones. Went on a family break,pool was very nice . Bar food was excellent. Booked the room for €259 a night added two kids and the total came to €279, happy with that deal. Would stay again in this hotel.
