Excellent hotel, three minutes from the Gateway of India, within walking distance of all the famous attractions.
We got a great clean room on the second floor, small, with all the amenities. There is a kettle in the room, water is replenished every day, there is tea, coffee in bags. The bathroom is well stocked with toiletries: shampoo / gel / balm / lotion, caps for rush, a small comb and a set of a file, adhesive plaster and cotton balls and sticks.
The staff speaks good English, very friendly, free and without problems checked in at 9 am, asked what time it would be convenient to check out. We said 2 pm and they happily agreed without any questions. Simply excellent attitude to guests! I liked the breakfast, they fry fresh eggs for every taste, and also a varied table: lots of sandwiches with vegetables, Indian dishes, excellent cheese (including processed cheese), delicious coffee from the coffee machine, freshly squeezed juices! The hotel is definitely one of the best in this area! ❤️

The staff is excellent. All our issues were promptly resolved. Rooms and breakfasts are very decent for 3 *. I especially note the convenient location relative to the main attractions.

What a fabulous hotel this is. From check in to check out we were made to feel very welcome. It is a hidden gem in Mumbai in my opinion. The staff were fantastic even down to the *** in the lift in his uniform. I absolutely loved it. The room was so nice, the bed was very comfortable and I loved the box in the bathroom with the toileteries in. Also we had a box of donuts delivered on our first evening and received a pen as as gift on our departure. All these little extra I thought were a very nice touch. The breakfast was also very good - this was the 3rd hotel we stayed in on our India trip and by far it was the best breakfast, bed, service and overall experience. The location is also good being close to the Gateway to India and quite a few restaurants and bars. Would I stay here again if visiting Mumbai most certainly.

Wow! This accommodation is outstanding. We stay for one week with a short trip in between then returned for another week. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean, bed was super comfortable and a king size. The location was central, walking distance to many places. The front end staff were very helpful and accommodating. Nozmul & Mehemmed, the Elevator Men were so friendly and genuinely happy to see us each day to have a chat. Tarique always greeted us each morning for breakfast and Michael made coffee for myself and my husband every day. Mukesh cleaned our room every day and was very friendly & thorough. They are all a credit to Suba Palace. What a fine establishment. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect. I thoroughly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Mumbai, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely clean room and the hosts were very attentive. We even had a packed breakfast when we used the airport transfer service at 5am. The location is great for all of the local attractions. The hotel is located in a quieter side street which was ideal.

I highly recommend this quaint and pleasant hotel in the Colaba region of Mumbai. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sechin, my housekeeper, was attentive and hard-working. Breakfast was a full buffet every morning, including an array of sweets for dessert. I was pleasantly surprised when greeted by a yummy chocolate gift in my room when I arrived, and they also gave me a special gift upon check out. Suba Palace is just a short walk away from the Gateway of India, the Kala Ghoda Arts District, and plenty of wonderful shopping!

The hotel is pleasantly situated in a side street a very short distance to everything you need. A short walk to the Gateway of India, nice restaurants, bars etc. Also a great location to be picked up for local day tours. Colaba was the perfect location for my first visit to Mumbai. After an overnight flight I arrived around 9 am at the hotel, obviously far to early for normal check in. The lovely staff could not have done more to make me feel comfortable during my wait making sure I had water/coffee etc and to get a room ready as soon as possible. By 11 am I was in my room. which was great. My large room was very comfortable and clean. My rate included buffet breakfast which was very good and again the staff ensured you had everything you needed. Room service was good too. For this prime Mumbai location, the price paid, the fantastic staff throughout the hotel, it was a perfect choice for me and I'd certainly stay again when back in Mumbai.
