Muralto Hotels with Bars

Modern, clean and perfectly located. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. A little pricey but worth it. Worth the extra cost of a junior suite on a higher level with direct lake views. The cocktail bar on level 7 is a must. Stunning breakfast was included and free parking just across the street.

This brand-new hotel on the lake just around the corner from Locarno in Muralto turned out to be a great choice for our stay in Ticino. Extremely comfortable modern rooms with great bathrooms and lake view, a very nice bar on the terrace outside with lots of comfy chairs and sofas, and extremely helpful staff. It also has a fully equipped bike room with tools, workstand, laundry and washing station, as well as city bikes available for clients' use.

The hotel is very nice and the proprietors are both welcoming and helpful. The room was small but adequate and included a small balcony, however, you had to duck to go out to the balcony. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked great! When I booked this, I was of the understanding that someone was at a front desk until 6 PM. It turns out that there is no front desk, and no one to help you if you need anything. They have a number to call but not the same thing. Because we didn't speak Italian, we were not able to call a taxi (they would hang up on us). So, although this is a very nice hotel, if you don't speak the language, you may want a full service hotel.
