Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa All Inclusive

We have just returned from a 10 night family holiday . This review is for the playa and park. The rooms are the only things that separate them. All facilities are shared. The first couple of days we enjoyed this hotel. Our room was perfectly clean with a side pool and sea view and very comfy beds. The hotel is on a beautiful beach. The food quality overall for all inclusive is good. We noticed a very obvious change in the hotel during our trip as we got further in to summer holiday time. During our stay the hotel seemed unable to cope with the number of guests arriving. Sun beds were a constant issue with all reserved by around 8am and the main pool was so tightly packed it felt uncomfortably close to other families. Only 2 restaurants for both hotels are open at lunchtime which means queues to get in. The staff are trying hard to keep things moving but it means while you are trying to have a relaxed lunch you are constantly asked if you are finished and if they can take your plate. Dinner is the same. Two buffet restaurants that are far too busy and feel stressful. They have 3 a la carte restaurants and you are entitled to go to each once only, they are not open every night and booking is restricted for the days open. We were unable to get into the Mexican restaurant in our 10 night stay but the kind reception staff managed to book us an extra night in the Greek restaurant. Evening entertainment is really good. The space for the number of guests again is an issue. After 8pm you will struggle to get a chair to watch it. Overall a beautifully clean hotel with great staff.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Albufera Playa! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spacious and beautifully decorated hotel. Our room was spacious with the biggest bed and the view was amazing. The pool area was brilliant, and we spent most of our time around the children’s pool, which was perfect for little ones. The variety of food in the buffet restaurants was fantastic. We had steak, lobster and belly pork. There was always something delicious on offer. We also had a meal at the Greek restaurant, and we highly recommend the mussels – they were delicious. The staff around the hotel were always lovely and helpful. The entertainment was another highlight. The staff really went the extra mile to put on some fantastic shows, and our daughter absolutely loved the Moana, Frozen, and Cartoon Heroes performances. She hasn’t stopped talking about them since! The beach was ideal for families with young children, offering safe, shallow waters and plenty of space for the little ones to play. All in all, our family break was absolutely brilliant and just what we needed! We’ve already started planning our next visit and can’t wait to return! As I always trawl through reviews before going somewhere, thought it would only be fair to write my own about this amazing hotel! Myself, partner and 5 year old stayed here for 8 nights and just had the most wonderful time. I would say this hotel (whilst sharing facilities with the Park side) is very large and could get extremely busy around the kids pool and in the buffet. I cannot imagine how busy it must be during the peak summer months. This is just a negative for us personally and no fault of the hotels, we just prefer hotels on the smaller side. The hotel itself is beautifully kept, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, the food is of good quality and as varied as an all inclusive buffet can be. We managed to book all 3 restaurants with ease and really enjoyed all 3. Entertainment was really enjoyable with delicious cocktails. The ice cream parlour was a big hit with our 5 year old! Would recommend this hotel to any family especially with younger kids, it really is heaven!

We had an amazing time at Iberostar Albufera Playa in Mallorca. The hotel is perfectly situated right on Playa de Muro — a stunning beach with calm waters and peaceful surroundings. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the whole resort is beautifully maintained. The staff were fantastic — warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. We felt well looked after throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed Nopal, the on-site Mexican restaurant — the food was delicious! If you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway with great service, beautiful surroundings, and excellent food, this place is hard to beat.

Albufera playa remains one of our favorite IBEROSTAR for years in Mallorca. Multiple stays always perfect. Welcome, costumer consideration, food quality and service. Friendly animators, and great value shows every evening. Very nice long beach of course, with direct easy access. Special thanks to all persons (staff, cooks, waiters, barmen) who made our stay a great pleasure.
