Great location 2 minutes walk from the old town area & 5 minutes walk (downhill) to the lake side. Hotel has a number of free parking spaces (but not reserved ) but paid parking just across the road Staff very friendly & and welcoming. Lady explained on map where to go for food & exploring old town & lake. Couldn't book evening meal as event happening. Room was comfortable - split double bed & lovely duvet/pillows. Room was very warm but had a fan ( this helped a little) Bathroom was large - had double sinks but shower over bath - no anti slip mat, so a little dodgy. Also,shower head height was for small people - had to bend my knees to wash hair & am only 5' 8in. Toiletries included. Breakfast was continental buffet style & very nice with good choice

Fantastic breakfast and lovely welcome for our dog : bowls + a treat The room could have been aired, we didn't manage to cool it down and hardly slept so we didnt extend our stay. No minibar, no reserved parking space. The open air cinema close by, no mention of it when I booked and I booked a day prior arrival. We moved to another hotel in the outskirt, cheaper, better

The room was clean and everything was there. The bed was comfortable. Staff - all very nice! In the evening the food was very good. The breakfast was great! A buffet with everything your heart desires. Thank you. We'll be back

Das Hotel Murten war für unsere 2-Tages-Wanderung (grosse Gruppe) ideal gelegen. Von den Teilnehmenden wurde das Hotel Murten als gute Wahl bezeichnet. Organisation, Check-In und Check-Out sehr professionell. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer waren sauber, teilweise etwas klein. Reichhaltiges und ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder.

Perfekte Organisation: Check-In, Frühstück, Check-Out. Perfekte Lage, am Rande der Altstadt. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für die Übernachtung auf der Durchfahrt von Sonntag auf Montag bestens geeignet. Murten am See ist einfach toll.

Zimmer sind klein und haben alles was man braucht. Waren nur eine Nacht für eine Hochzeit. Dafür reicht es völlig aus. Sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Frühstück. Das Hotel empfiehlt sich, wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist und nur eine ruhige Schlafgelegenheit braucht.

In een woord SLECHT! Oude kamers waar je je echt onprettig voelt, lijkt alsof je bij Tante Emma op het zolderkamertje ligt. Over staat rommel van het personeel, gebruikte borden, brengen aan was op de gangen. Receptie bij de check in niet bepaald gastvrij. Dit moet een van de 100 beste hotels in Zwitserland zijn (vraagteken!)?? Echt een ongelofelijk oude rommel. De prijs voor zo'n kamertje is echt abnormal hoog! Nooit meer!

Das Hotel Murten war für uns perfekt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer war sauber, schön ausgestattet und für uns ideal. Das dritte Bett war in einem separaten Zimmerteil, wodurch unsere Tochter etwas Privatsphäre hatte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und liess keine Wünsche offen. Gerne wieder!
