Pelican Bay Hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel! Beautiful views from our room. Five minute walk to the beach. Front desk ladies were awesome to help with all of our questions, even helped us print tickets for ferry. Bar tenders were great, drinks and food, very accommodating. Great hotel and staff is five stars plus. Thank for our trip to Mykonos so memorable.

Beautiful hotel, staff was incredibly friendly and made it such a wonderful experience. This hotel is well situated, beautiful view, and super clean. The staff went out of their way to make it such a pleasant place to visit. Breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Lovely boutique hotel near Platys Gialos beach. Exceptionally well maintained and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Bright and spacious rooms, ours had a lovely terrace. Breakfast was of a high standard. Pool area is stylish and relaxing, and the bar serves drinks and food throughout the day. The traditional Greek dishes are excellent. Some info you might find useful: the hotel is not close to Mykonos Town (Hora), and in my opinion it is not walkable. Reception will arrange a car for you, and it will cost between 20-25 euros. We did this during our stay and it was a very comfortable way to travel into town. Alternatively you can walk down towards the beach (5 mins) where there is a bus. This costs a couple of euros, but you might be waiting a while. You can get taxis back from the old port end of the town at the busy car rental place. You can’t miss it. These will generally cost 15-20 euros. There are restaurants nearby which are within walking distance, including Nikos Gallup Taverna (reserve in advance if you want a good table) and some nice restaurants by the beach. We dined at Anios one evening during our stay and it was excellent. As for the beach itself - it is very busy, but there are lots of options for beds. Prepare to pay quite a bit for them though. The beds are generally owned by the bars behind them, and some will ask for a flat rate (in the region of €50 for two beds and a parasol) whereas others will expect you to spend a certain amount on drinks. Don’t just go and grab a bed and start sunbathing! Check with the bar staff so you know what you are signing up to first! Or speak to the staff at the hotel. They are fab and very helpful and will make sure you are looked after.

Pelican Bay Hotel is a gem in Mykonos, perfectly located close to beaches and the trendy Nammos Village. Our experience started rocky thanks to our tour operator *Wingbuddy*, who booked us in a tiny room with one bed (despite us paying for a superior room). As my friend snores like a wild boar, this wasn’t going to work! Thankfully, the hotel manager and staff were amazing. They went above and beyond, upgrading us to a beautiful, spacious room with two beds, making sure we were comfortable and happy. Beyond the stellar service, the hotel itself is lovely—clean, well-located, and with an amazing breakfast spread. Big thanks to the staff for saving our stay! Highly recommend Pelican Bay for anyone visiting Mykonos.

The room we had was nice and spacious with a day bed and two balconies with great views across the few rooftops to the sea. We liked that it was a short bus ride(10mins) into Mykonos town as it was much more peaceful than the main town. The reception area was light and bright and staff were really helpful and friendly. We thought the bathroom was a little dated compared to the rest of the room and hotel but still clean and tidy. It would have been nice to have a better selection of tea and coffee in the rooms as they are charging high end prices. We thought breakfast was very good and offered lots of choice from traditional to cooked options as well as pastries and sweet treats. The pick up transfer was also a nice inclusion but you had to pay for your return so factor this into your costs. I would stay here again due to its quiet location and ease of access to Mykonos town.
