"The hotel is right at the entrance of the ski resort and you can Ski in/Out. Guests of the hotel in Figure 3 can get a discount on the ski pass price. Our price for three days was 25,400 yen. There are very few people in the ski resort unless there is heavy snowfall. Very few people. There are several restaurants in the hotel, and you need to make a reservation for dinner in the evening. The taste is good. There are ski lockers on the first floor for free. Friendly advice, try to bring your own shoes and boards. The shoes rented by the ski resort are very loose and the boards are heavy and hard."

"This chain hotel has hot spring baths. Located at the high-speed intersection. There are many restaurants around. There is also a seafood market. The canteen next to the hotel has a large portion and a large bowl of noodles is enough for two people. The room size is a bit small, but there are everything that should be available, and the price is fairly affordable. The breakfast was good. Parking is free."

"Service attitude is very good
But it was too old and noisy. The ventilation system kept making noises of parts falling off for more than 10 hours. So I chose a room with a bathroom and toilet. I wanted convenience, but I didn't expect that it would be inconvenient to take a bath. The bathtub was too small and there was bleach in the water. The smell, and the water in the bathtub is still completely wet even if there is a shower curtain blocking the floor. It is very uncomfortable. The wind power of the hair dryer is close to zero. It is recommended to bring your own hair dryer, otherwise it will really collapse. The hotel may be too old. I really don’t recommend it if you want to enjoy skiing. This hotel has been in a state of collapse. I stayed there for four nights and it was really uncomfortable. Then when the room was cleaned, the floor was not vacuumed. The room was really dirty and the slippers were rusty in it... In short, I will not come again! ! !
Really ruined a good ski trip"

"Located in Chicang Hot Spring Street, the location is convenient, it is most convenient to find food in Hot Spring Street, and the service attitude is very good 👍🏻"
"The lady at the counter was so accommodating. Provided everything we needed and was happy to help in any other way. Spoke a little English but used google translate to help. We couldn't use the dining room for dinner, I think that had to be booked in advance. There was only one or two other places open in town at 7.30pm for dinner. So wasn't many options. The room had stains all over the floor, but otherwise the beds were clean, and comfortable being on the harder springy side, and the bathroom was very clean. The onsen was amazing. The room was a good size, and had extra toilets down the hall if we needed them. The Japanese breakfast that was provided was fantastic. We only stayed one night because we were walking the next day just near there otherwise would have stayed in a bigger town, because of the limited outside facilities. But for the price and it was convenient it was good. Would stay again if I had to, but otherwise would go for a bit nicer place."
"Great stay at a Japanese bed and breakfast style accomodation. Owners are an elderly Japanese couple who speaks average English but we get by. Free transport to and fro ski slopes even though they are a 1.2 km walk away from Akakura Onsen main street. Owner was also kind enough to drive us to the train station for our rest day from snowboard. Breakfast was great! Room had attached toilets and were super clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Will stay here again next time I come to Myoko Kogen"
"Amazing staff and lovely old place with nice onsen on site. Good breakfast in the morning and right near free shuttle to kanko/onsen ski fields. Nice buffet breakfast every day and they do a great dinner too"
"The room was very well cleaned.
I was able to sleep soundly without being bothered by any noise from the surrounding rooms.
It was the end of the year and it was very cold outside in snowy country, but it was warm inside the hotel.
We were able to use the large public bath until 2am, which was very appreciated.
The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and we enjoyed it at our leisure. It was delicious."

Outstanding
PPCCW18Excellent guesthouse with excellent hosts. Had everything I needed, a room to sleep, a mini bath house, and they served delicious breakfast and dinner. Close to snow resort and shuttle bus service. Would stay again.
AAnonymous UserHotel has good heating so perfect for winter stay. Nice fireplace area and nice holding area before stepping out into the cold. The hotel is down a hill from the main thoroughfare. A bit slippery downhill when it becomes icy. Run like a hotel so maybe a bit cold compared to a bed and breakfast. Onsen bath seems a bit dirty with things floating in there compared to other hotels we stayed at. We needed to move to another hotel which is 2km away and the guy offered to drive us there for 2000 yen! Just 1 luggage each and no skis. So on the whole just cold. Breakfast was 1000 yen seemed simple so we skipped and opted to eat in town instead. Probably won't stay there again.
