Great place for vacation. Ocean view and beach area was excellent. The desk clerk and staff were great. Condo was clean and comfortable. Everything was in place from the kitchen to the bathrooms . Beds were comfortable and the setting was perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better place to relax and enjoy. Certainly hope to come back soon.

I have stayed in this hotel many times since childhood. However, no one could’ve prepared me for the nastiness of the carpet in room 620! It’s hunter green and you can see stains everywhere!! Imagine if it weren’t that color, it’s gotta be a health hazard! The humidity that naturally comes with the beach just makes the carpet even more horrible. I bought flip flops just to wear as shields because there’s no way you want to step on it! The views are great and everything else in this unit is old as all get out, but it’s no big deal….just the pukey floor needs to be addressed in a 911 type of way.

The room in the picture when I booked was nothing like the room I received. The room in the booking was really nice and clean looking. The room I received was a disgusting filthy mess. There were food crumbs on the carpet, giant greasy tennis shoe footprints on one of the bedspreads and what appears to be blood stains on the walls and pillow case. I do not have pictures of the numerous hairs (not mine) on the walls of the shower and on the shower curtain. The room also had the odor of stale cigarette smoke. If you question why I didn’t request another room, it’s because this was my second room. The first room I received was even worse. The room was so dirty that I wore shoes or flip flops so I didn’t have to have my bare feet on the floor and carpet.

Had a wonderful week at Sands Beach Club, great rooms with plenty of space. Excellent service we experience with the maintenance Manger when we arrived late and needed assistance of an unexpected situation. All turned out much better than needed. Great service when you need to call for service after hours. Best part of Myrtle Beach area also.

Great location and beach. Units outdated and common areas not so good. Staff helpful but limited in abilities to improve stay. Probably won’t go back. Not any luxury here.

I have been going to the beach since 1967, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Our trip was handled by Beach Vacations which I would highly recommend not to do business with. The initial reservation was a 1400 sq. ft. condo at Maison-sur-Mer and within a month before our vacation, we were switched to the 600 sq. ft. Sands Beach Club Resort for the same price. A classic bait and switch. Here is a list of things that we had at Sands Beach Club: 1. One small TV 2. One pillow per bed 3. No pillow cases for the two extra pillows 4. No comforter for one of the beds 5. No lamp in the master bedroom 6. A poorly functioning AC 7. Three dinner plates for four adults and a toddler 8. No ice trays Please do not waste your time or money on any trip to Myrtle Beach that includes the name Beach Vacations or Sands Beach Club.

This place had roach bugs crawling out our pillow cases, was not clean at all I would not tell anyone to stay here sorry not sorry It was dirty and filthy us more like it, roach bugs crawling out our pillow cases to say the least, NO help nor caring from folks running front desk, I left a day early and didn't have to pay for that night, when I ask to be accommodated for this foul room no was the answer and they did give me a 100 dollar credit, better than nothing, Do not stay here, what you see is exactly what you get at 200 dollars a night, it ******

Horrible service. They won’t even clean our room we’re here for a whole week and it’s disgusting. I shouldn’t have to pay $1800 for a room then go buy a vacuum and a mop to clean with. Also we’re expected to used the same 4 towels and 4 wash cloths all week for 6 people. Gross. Never again! Worst place ever!! Also big roaches crawling all threw the halls!!!
