Ibis N'Djaména La Tchadienne

I spent the night next door at the Irrisor hotel. However, I ate dinner outdoors in the Sao restaurant which belongs to the La Tchadienne hotel. In general, both hotels have a lot in common. A solid and high fence, a large parking lot and sports grounds are common. This hotel, before the name change, was in the Novotel chain. It looks a bit better and more modern than the Irrisor Hotel. I don't have the best opinion about Sao restaurant. It advertises itself as a grill-steakhouse. Even before eating, I noticed a lot of oversights. Dirty spreads on the tables , sluggish and mannered service and significant gaps in the menu . The menu had a large selection of natural juices, but only watermelon was available. Anyway, it was given in a large dilution with water. I ordered the spicy grilled pili-pili fish. Unfortunately, the spicy sauce was reported to me when I had finished eating it. On the other hand, without ordering, the waiter gave me water but never mind, although I wanted to drink pastis without water. It is also worth mentioning the problem with giving change. The waiters were completely unprepared for this and kind of extorted an extra tip by suggesting rounding the prices. Such practices are normal here. Just like the prevailing, and not only at the bar, ladies of the oldest profession. The advantage was the location of the restaurant by the pool and surrounded by well-kept greenery, but this is not enough for customers.
