Lovely ryokan / hostel accommodation with private rooms and shared toilets. There is a free to use private bath and onsen within the hotel - reserve at the front desk. TV included. Nice environment. Would come again.

This is our last stay of our Kumano hiking. Since it was winter, not that many guests. There are a few toilets and face washing areas. We had a cozy stay. The location is very close to the JR station. The other side of the JR station is full of restaurants. We decided to rent a car to travel along the coastal area then back to Wakayama the next day. Toyota-a-car is the only car rental shop to allow us to do so, which is also extremely close to this accommodation.  Just 5 mins walk. You’ll have to book to use the onsen. The water is hot enough to save my legs after a long hiking day. Value  for money, highly recommended.

There's private sento but the bathtub is not clean.
The other facilities are good.

Beautiful structure, perfect location and with Private Onsen for 30 min.

The hotel is very conveniently located next to the station. There are restaurants and convenience stores around, which is OK. There are hot springs available for reservation, the facilities can meet general needs, and the sound insulation of the rooms is poor.
