I have to say that before we even arrived at this sweet and beautiful hotel, we recieved the warmest welcome from Penny,Pavel, and Kyiarki. We stayed at the Avra for 5 days in Sept 2024. From the location to the beautiful rooms, the pool, breakfast and the hospotility. We had an amazing vacation . Very much recomended...🙌

Modern, well designed small hotel opposite the best 24/7 bakery in the world! Relaxing and pretty shady garden with large pool and handy bar. Rooms are super soundproofed so you cannot hear the traffic and the air con is very quiet. We slept really well on comfortable, large beds. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast good.

We made a booking over the phone and the person at the reception called Pavlos - who was the same person that took our booking over the phone, was very polite and welcoming. Nothing was trouble for Pavlos. Our room was very clean and tidy and to be honest the whole hotel was clean and tidy at the whole time. In the morning we had breakfast and almost everything at the buffet was fresh and handmade.! We were looked after by a lady called Kuriaki and bless her she couldn’t do enough for us - meaning her willingness to go the extra mile for us.!!! Well done guys, you are an asset to Avra hotel and we are definitely coming back.! Many Thanks Zisimos and Liza

Lovely boutique hotel a little way out of the old town. Quiet street at the back with plenty of free parking. We had a double room with a balcony looking towards Palamidi Fortress, nice view at sunset. The room had a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, a safe and a coffee machine. Bathroom was a good size and everything worked well. Hanging rack on balcony to dry towels, clothes. Large clean pool which was covered every night and cleaned every day during our stay, plenty of sun lounges and a poolside bar. Amazing breakfast spread with eggs cooked to your liking, espresso/cappuccino. Special thanks to the lovely Evie for her amazing delicious homemade cakes and sweets. The best staff who greeted us with a smile, a wave and helpful advice when we went in or out. Probably a 20-25min walk to the start of the old town/harbour area. An easy flat walk though so not a struggle. Wonderful bakery (Kosmos Bakery) almost directly across the main street with great pastries, desserts, juices etc. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Can't think of any negatives except that we had to leave!

If I could award 10 stars I would, lovely room, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, but more than all that the staff are exceptional, kind, helpful and always smiling. The breakfasts are amazing. It was a pleasure to stop there.

Great parking on the street. The room had a shower with great water pressure. The service was great with helpful, polite staff. The breakfast was lovely with a great selection. The bed was a bit harder than we were used to. The swimming pool was great.

We had a lovely stay at Avra. One of the only hotels with a pool, which we soaked in quite alot - when we didn't soak in the sea. The personel are super friendly and accomodating. We were allowed to have a birthday party and a small wedding party in the common area. The hotell is clean and cosy. Not to small, not too big. There's a little noise from the road, but there is double patio doors to lessen the noise, which works fine. There's a supermarket and a minimarket 5-10 mins walk and an awesome bakery across the road that has some amazing goods. The personel are super helpfull - they fix you a taxi and can even order a transport further away (we got a minibus fra the hotel to Athens airport. We will surely visit again!

We only stayed 1 night. The pool was refreshing and we were able to walk to the port (15 mins) but were then able to drive back that way for dinner. It was clean and lovely. Breakfast had many different options for tastes. Would highly recommend.
