2-Star Hotels in Nagano

It’s a hostel. We have to pay for the towels Good mattress but my blanket came without covers on. So that’s not good housekeeping. The bathing - water spray good strength with shampoo conditioner and body wash. There is laundromat. Dust at the corner of the rooms The aircon heat only covers the top but couldn’t get to the whole room cos the beds blocked the air ventilation. Hence cold sleeping at the lower bunks Very very very tight space. It’s walking distance from station. 10 mins Surrounded by eateries We got this cos wanted a budget stay with resting space for 4 people. So it fits my checklist nevertheless.

The room is well-equipped and very close to JR Nagano Station and Bus Station-mae Station. There are buses to Zenkoji Temple and Togakushi at Bus Station-mae Station. There is Toyoko Department Store in front of Nagano Station and there are many restaurants. There is a soba shop in front of the hotel for dining. Very convenient. Curry rice and bread, coffee, tea, juice and miso soup are provided for breakfast.

It is very close to JR Nagano Station, and it is easy to find with the navigation. The staff are very friendly. Although they don't have Chinese, they can communicate in English without barriers. They also told me how to get to M-wave. Even if you can't check in early, you can store your luggage and help deliver to the room you will prepare afterwards. Drink from the beverage machine in the lobby, thank you, uncle, for teaching me how to use it (laughs). If I booked a room without breakfast, I still gave a breakfast voucher. Very good experience of visiting Shanguang Temple, the exquisite all-vegetarian kaiseki cuisine is impressive and suitable for travelers who really want to visit. Everyone in Sufang is kind and courteous.

You can reach it in a straight line. 2) Hotel: Decorated in the 1980s-1990s, there is no heating in the corridor, but there is heating in the room, and the temperature is suitable. There is no bathing in the hotel. The hot spring is in a large covered tub. There is no heating in the shower room and toilet. 3) Meals: You can order them at the hotel. The boss’s skills are pretty good and delicious, but not very cheap. [Five-star recommendation] Try to avoid bringing a trolley suitcase in winter. The road is too difficult to walk. It is uphill to get to the hotel. I arrived at night and fell a few times. It was too painful.

Japanese-style room, clean and tidy, the equipment is a bit old but complete. The hotel owner is a grandfather in his 80s and is very nice. He is not very good at English, but he will try his best to communicate with you. He also drove me to Nagano Station because of the rain.

Nice location with old fashion Ryokan hotel in Nagano. Business runs by 2 old people with warm welcome. It's share bathroom And they have onsen (small) avaliable for your stay.

This is a truly authentic experience! Cosy, with traditional furniture and bed, whilst still offering very comfortable options it's the best of both worlds. Plus, the view is among the best in town and the breakfast is authentic and charming. It was a beautiful experience to say here and the fact the hosts did not speak English actually added to the experience. I'd be sure to visit again next time I'm in Nagano.
