Hotel is close to snow view point in Gagar so had amazing view of Himalayas from the room. Pros: View is awesome. Room is of decent size, clean and has attached balcony. Food is tasty and chef made special pahari gehot dal on request. Heater is provided on request. Cons: It's around 10 kms from Nainital but we had cab with us so it was ok. Bathroom is small.

It is the worst hotel i have ever been to. Unbearable place and very poorly managed. The place is nothing like the photos. Rooms are super filthy and dirty. The sheets and blanket had fungus all over. It felt as if the sheets were already used. The restaurant felt like a big hostel mess. Checked into the hotel at 8:30 pm and requested for heater at an extra charge of Rs 500 per heater (coz f 2 rooms we needed 2 heaters). Soon the light f both rooms tripped and we were informed we cudnt use both geyser and heater together. We switched off the geyser still the lights tripped. The hotel staff asked us to switch off the rooms lights if we wanted to use heater. How gross is that? Anyways, at 12am the hotel disconnected the light. Upon calling reception the hotel staff reacted as if they were aware about power cut. They said we do have backup but no one is available to turn on the generators. The power was restored only at 7am ( probably to save the electricity consumption from heaters). The light kept on tripping the whole morning. We were told to use kettle to heat water instead of geyser to avoid light tripping. I mean seriously? Thats y they charged us 8k? We left the hotel at 10:30 am as we couldn’t bear this place more. Also, we requested for bisleri and the hotel staff refilled someone else’s bottles with tap water and gave it to us as new bottles. Never been to such an ill managed place. Even 1 star is too much for them.
