We stayed in the Links Suite for 3 nights and it was a real treat. There are views overlooking the beach and the suite is very spacious running from the front to the back of the property. The bathroom was very swish and the shower was fabulous. The sofa and huge bed were super comfy. We ate very well and the chef was a character! He made us rolls for our trip home and took care to ensure they were warm.

Great pub, food and servers however the single room is extremely small and dated. Bed was uncomfortable. If you’re looking for a wonderful location The Bandstand may work but be aware of the dated rooms. Also live music which is loud if you’re trying to sleep. The music generally shuts down at 11 pm thankfully.

Great comfy bed and pillows, clean bathroom, always good standard. I’ve stayed for work during the week and I’ve stayed for fun at the weekend and I’m always pleased. The standard of the breakfast offer is fantastic. And fab food all round. The team here are excellent!, already pay attention and with a smile. Thanks team Bandstand.

We had a one-night stay in a sea-view room with dinner. It was a busy evening with live music, so were prepared for a wait for food, but it arrived promptly and was very well executed. The service was attentive and the staff friendly - they really do make The Bandstand a welcoming venue. The room was a good size with opening windows, tea and coffee tray, and two singles together making a large bed. It has the potential for a better rating, but is let down by the detail - a dated electric shower, thin uncomfortable pillows, cheap curtains and rough, scratchy bed sheets. The kitchen turned out a hearty cooked breakfast, but the 'buffet' is limited to packet cereals and fruit juice. With an upgrade, this hotel could be so much better.

We had a two night stay in mid July, staying in Room 9 on the top floor (no lift) which we had chosen because it was described as a superior room. It was very large with comfortable beds, but the bathroom was small. Unfortunately, the walk-in shower had a sliding door and it was such a narrow opening that one of us could not get into it. A bi-fold door on the shower would overcome this problem. I would suggest that anyone of a larger build checks with the hotel that the bathroom is accessible. Other than this issue, we enjoyed the food in the restaurant and found the staff very friendly.

Visited twice a few days apart - the first night there was a wedding on so presumed that was why we were ignored. Went back a couple nights later only to be turned away from a nearly empty pub because the kitchen was “at capacity”. This didn’t look to be the case and there was no apology or suggestion of where else we could go which was disappointing

We arrived early but this wasn't a problem and we were booked in and shown our room straight away. The staff are some of most helpful and cheery people I've met. Delicious well presented food, from a surprisingly varied menu ensured we dined there every one of four nights stay. It's no wonder it is so popular with (very friendly) locals and the fact that they also have books and music from local authors and musicians available to buy speaks volumes for the owners. Neat spotless room, smiles all round, real ale and lovely food. 10 / 10.

Stayed here for a few days recently. Room/bed was very comfortable, but we couldn’t get a signal on the TV. We only wanted to see the news in the evening so it wasn’t that much of a miss. Staff were very pleasant and enjoyed a laugh. Food was good and the snug/bar area was very cosy with a log burner. We stayed in room 7 which had a superb, uninterrupted view of the sea. Would recommend The Bandstand Hotel to anyone visiting Nairn.
