Nice hotel. More upmarket than others. Very clean and offers a good service. I would recommend they do some more maintenance however, especially with the men’s steam room. It’s quite run down.

The heron hotel is the the place to stay if you want a real feel for the warmth & charm of Nairobi & its people instead of a cold impersonal hotel. The owners & staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit ex. tours.& transportation. They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. We stayed at 3 hotels in Nairobi and this one was our favorite for its peaceful and gracious atmosphere. The location is very amazing and the security is something to smile about. Wesley was very supportive, helpful and very efficient. Great hotel in Nairobi.

We truly enjoyed ourselves. The dinner was delicious and team was incredibly welcoming. The 'English Fish & Chips and the Penne Al Batta' are a must have at Heron by Sarovar Portico. Oh the heated pool is the icing on the cake, highly recommend %. See you soon.

The best pillows ever !! Good for neck and the back when you relax in bed . The hospitality was warm and welcoming with the workers well mannered and professional. Fridah Rono , front office manager is one of the people you must look for when you arrive. She is extremely good at her job, a good listener, takes care of guests needs . She makes the hotel feel like your best friends house rather than a hotel. A five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ worthy. Anne Nyaga - Sales head manager. Came to us and asked how our experience was within the Heron Portico Hotel , and when I shared a few insights on where improvement was required, everything became good . That touched my heart. Such a very professional lady. At the service areas there is this am there is Leah . Short haired lady built like a fashion model. Very hospitable that I almost thought she works for a top airline company. Admirable chutzpah and an impeccable service delivery. Fred is the best with Spanish omelette. That chef is awesome. Dan wadula at the gate is also amazing gate man Faith Simon who was cleaning my room was so good. My room was just smelling fresh every single day with towels as pristine as it should. Benard Ocholla who is the porter took good care of my bags. A warm hearted human with professional traits. I love this hotel and I highly recommend it for people. It's an old hotel however it has kept it's magic ✨ I hope you people also enjoy the experience 💕 Letoya Johnstone

There was Great service from the team, great visitors reception, inreally enjoyed the time there with my family, the environment was cool. A very convenient location from the CBD. What was missing was cool background music to match their classic style.

As usual we were never disappointed again with this hotel.The food was super super delicious, regards to the chefs.Thd service from Onesmus kala was amazing , this guy is agerm, very professional and exciting, he is always happy. Not only him, their manager Mr.Nyangaresi was exceptional ,very professional and a avery smart guy .His recommendations never disappointes .The location from CBD is excellent. The facility is just amazing .We will come back again.
