Super Hotel Oita Nakatsu-Ekimae

We stayed here as a family of three. Although the room had bunk beds, it was very small and it was difficult to spread out our luggage and use the toilet, but the room was clean. All the staff were polite and left a good impression. There was only one hot spring, so it was a rotation system between men's and women's, but we were able to use it comfortably without any problems. The free juice and morning breakfast were limited in variety, but we were grateful. The price was reasonable, and personally I think it's good for one or two people staying near the station. It's a little small for a family, but there are many good points such as a coin laundry and pillow and amenity service.

I stopped in Nakatsu City to try fried chicken, and chose this hotel because it was close to the station and I could go to various fried chicken restaurants. I have stayed at Super Hotels in various places, and this one was no exception, as I was able to receive the same reliable and familiar service. The front desk staff were polite, the hotel was well-cleaned, and the free breakfast buffet was the same as before, with just the right amount of Japanese and Western food. By the way, the most important fried chicken restaurant was Bungoya, which was about a 5-minute walk away, but other restaurants were difficult to access without a car.

This review was made a year ago, so it may have changed since then. At that time, due to the effects of COVID-19, the side plates were paper plates like those used for camping. The buffet didn't have many varieties, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the staff did their best, so I would like to give them a positive review. All the front desk staff were very pleasant.
