Sawairiang Place has 70 rooms. The bed was hard (as in many hotels in Thailand), Some rooms have low water pressure in the shower. TV was connected to internet, so you can watch Netflix, YouTube. Sawairiang Place is located around 650 meters from The Mall, and also around 650 meters from Yamo Market.

The place was an excellent value for money, and was in good location within walking distance to The Mall of Korat. Not easy to find the place unless familiar with the surroundings, which meant a 60 Bath Tuktuk ride for a very short distance from the station on day of arrival. Room was kept clean and all staff were friendly. Cons: 1. Very hard bed that took me at least 2 nights to get used to it. (Seems like it is norm as checked 3 others guesthouses plus other hotel on my 2nd day and all had hard beds). 2. Stray dogs roaming around on the hotel premises that were barking on me when I was leaving early on Sunday for my half-marathon race. 3. No restaurant on site (other than a café selling drinks etc.). But plenty of places nearby including a 7 eleven a few metres away.
