The main entrance is inspiring. Front desk was extremely helpful. As I would’ve expected from Shangri-La the room was exceptional. The view was wonderful picture of the river. I was disappointed with the Chinese restaurant second floor, where we ate dinner and I was also disappointed with breakfast offering at the Horizon club on the 32nd floor. Dinner early they were out of seven dishes that we selected they were still on the menu to choose from incomprehensible. At breakfast the staff at the Horizon club was very attentive, however, the food selection was sparse, and while quite fresh, was less than expected. Hotel 5 Stars. Restaurants 3 stars. Hotel staff and restaurant staff 5 stars

Nothing to complain about. Location was good, really close to Nanchang train station and Bayi square (the didi drivers struggled with getting in the right place due to many layers of roads nearby, though). Room was clean and had all the necessities. Breakfast was really nice, I'd say a western style with a Chinese twist.

The reservation was made at the Pullman and was upgraded to the Steigenberger Hotel. This is the third time I have stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel. To be honest, the hygiene of this hotel is worse than every time, it is visibly dirty. There was a layer of dust on the mirror, there were spots on the carpet, and the edges and seams of the room were all gray. The hotel concierge is useless and has a very bad attitude.

The receptionist was super kind; we got an upgrade free of charge. The room was good. In particular, I like the room very much: spacious, very clean and well-lit. The breakfast was good too. Overall, a good value for money.

Environment: The location is convenient. There is a subway station downstairs. It is recommended to take a taxi across the subway station to the opposite side. The hotel is in a great location. Although the room was much more expensive than the day before, considering the location and the room's acceptability, I decided to stay for another day. The front desk clerk was very dedicated and asked if we needed to change the bed sheets and quilt covers, and immediately arranged for someone to clean so that we could rest at noon. The parking lot is also very large. As long as it is not too far from the entrance, you can always find a parking space. The facilities are old, but I want towels. Timely updates of bed sheets and quilt covers will make up for the shortcomings of old facilities.

After staying for 5 nights, my old father felt quite satisfied. The main reason is that the hotel's buffet breakfast is very rich and tastes good. Moreover, the breakfast time during the New Year is 7:00-11:00, which is very suitable. The hotel is an old-fashioned 5-star configuration, and the decoration style is a popular element 10 years ago, but it is well maintained. The central air-conditioning is too powerful, and the temperature in winter is very hot. Later, I opened a little window and it felt okay. The hotel's customer service/cleaning aunt, the restaurant staff, the service is very good, warm and polite. Auntie Xia Hongying comes to clean every day and greets my father warmly and wishes him a happy new year. Not bad👍👍 At breakfast every day, the restaurant receptionist greets my father warmly and jokes politely. Very good, nice.
