This place is all about the location and price was decent too. I knew it was an older hotel so I’m not going to complain about that. However, I didn’t extend my stay… the reason is as soon as I walked into the room there was like a dank smell. The room was actually pretty clean and well kept, so I put it down to the bathroom drains needing cleaning. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be writing the review. Make of that what you will!

My single room is small relative to the other Chinese hotels I stayed in in China. The hotel is old but the interior is quite nice.
I found the hotel breakfast to be exceptional. It offers the largest selection.
I arrived while a conference was held. The check-in was extremely slow. The concierge was not short-staffed. Just that they don't work efficiently and took a long time to check-in a guest.

On the first night in Nanchang, I chose this old hotel along the airport bus line. I have to say that the location of the hotel is really good, right on Bayi Avenue and close to the subway station. The room I booked only had a 1.2-meter single bed, but it was enough. For me who was traveling alone, it actually gave me a sense of security. The facilities are indeed not comparable to new hotels, but they are well maintained and cleaned. When I woke up the next morning, I felt very comfortable looking at the large shade of trees in the hotel courtyard.
