This is a hotel with a very historical background. I came to Nanjing on a business trip and found this hotel by chance. The hotel manager enthusiastically helped me upgrade to a suite. I stayed there for a few days and the overall feeling was very good. The coffee for breakfast was great, and the fruit drinks in the room were also refilled every day. It was also very convenient to travel! I took the time to listen to the manager's explanation of the hotel's history and found that it is still a great place to hold a party. 😊 If I have the opportunity to go to Nanjing in the future, I will specify this hotel!

I screened out business hotels and wanted to experience Nanjing's cultural heritage in depth. I accidentally discovered the Yihe Yangzi. My friends and I both love the retro style of the Republic of China. I didn't expect that the experience after arriving would be better than expected. The entrance of the hotel is not obvious. There are some residential areas and construction sites to be built around it. But when you walk into the stone brick pavement at the entrance, you will be surrounded by a strong atmosphere of the Republic of China. After checking in, the friendly and enthusiastic housekeeper took the initiative to lead a tour of the entire hotel space. The castle is built with stone bricks from the Ming Dynasty. It is a real antique historical building. You can feel the traces of time traveling from every brick. The interior space retains the spatial layout of the Republic of China to a high degree. The patinated wood boards and old furniture exude a particularly charming atmosphere given by time, which makes people curious and yearning for everything here. The aesthetics of a specific era endow the space here with agility and imagination. Walking into the ballroom where Song Qingling held a dance party and the private room where she held a banquet, it seems that the real scene is in front of you. The design of the room is comfortable and elegant. In terms of space hardware, under the premise of the old building, I personally think that there is no need to compare with modern new hotels. It has been relatively perfect. For me, it will not be reduced because of the loss of details. The enthusiasm of the service staff also adds more comfort and warmth to the living experience. (A dinner was booked at the hotel. The Huaiyang cuisine is exquisite and delicious) The unfinished construction site around may be a regrettable flaw, but for my two-day experience, the flaws are not enough to cover the merits. The future of Yangzi is promising. It is already the first choice for travel in Nanjing!

The service is very good, but there are not enough staff, and the service is not very professional. The division of labor among several people is not clear. When I first arrived, I thought I was in the wrong place... The building is very tasteful, and many spaces are not open. The breakfast is good. Maybe it will feel better after the New Year.

The Cultural Relics Bureau comes to the hotel for maintenance every Monday, which is very expensive and not easy to move forward.

The strongest point of this hotel is the people. You can see the staff's love for the hotel. When I checked in, the female manager at the front desk was very enthusiastic and called a security guard to help me move my luggage. Manager Zhu Xiwu also gave me a vivid explanation of the history of the hotel, who had lived in the hotel, the details and cleverness of the design, which was great! Highly praised! The hotel itself is still very French style, and I especially like the French shutters. I stayed in two hotels in Yihe Nanjing, and the other one, Jieziyuan, was also a good experience. I will still look for this hotel next time I come to Nanjing.
