Let's look at it from the perspective of a family of four (children are 13 and 14 years old):
1. Hotel
When we originally planned to travel to Nanjing from Taiwan, we saw that all the rooms were triple rooms (one with a large bed and one with a small bed). We were worried that the rooms would not be enough, so we specially booked 2 triple rooms. However, we hoped that the whole family could stay in the same room. After inquiring by phone, the hotel was very straightforward and said that we could stay in a triple room without any additional charge, and the room was big enough (they were also very considerate and said that we could save the accommodation fee and not waste money). Then, we were worried that the bed was not big enough, after all, the child was older, so I specially brought an inflatable mattress (I didn’t use it at all after arriving at the hotel, but fortunately the bed was big enough for sleeping and the space was big enough); finally, we were very afraid of stepping on a thunder, there were not many reviews about it, and some were good and some were bad. The point is that we were in the downtown area of Nanjing (next to the Confucius Temple on the Qinhuai River), and the 3-person room with breakfast was less than NT$2,000 per night (we stayed for five nights, checked out from Saturday to Thursday morning, and two days were holidays!). It was really hard not to worry about this price, but after checking in, I really recommended the Orange Hotel. After that, we changed to the second Jinling Hotel (five-star), and once considered changing back to the Orange Hotel.
2. Room
The space is large enough and there is a very cozy sofa area. The whole room is full of technology, with various sockets, a smart toilet, and the ability to view the washing machine status from the TV and mobile phone, etc. In addition, when the curtains are opened, you can see the Qinhuai River. I can only describe it as perfect. The hotel also has a self-service laundry function, and the waiters will regularly inspect and help fold clothes, etc. It is really perfect!
3. Breakfast
Simple but delicious. It's rare that I can stay in a hotel for five days and still not get tired of eating breakfast. My wife asked me to emphasize that their sweet potatoes and small oranges are really sweet and delicious!
4. Location
It is about 500 meters away from the entrance of Confucius Temple. We visit Confucius Temple almost every day and the surrounding area is very lively, but it is relatively quiet in the alley and we didn't hear much noise.
