Nanjing Qinhuai District Hotels

Nice hotel near busy LaoSingMen area; was assigned a room in B1 level with a small window that does not have much light or see anything outside as this is a basement level in a hotel with center court (天井？）； our towels were changed daily, but, there was no cleaning done on a daily basis; bathroom’s sink was clogged with lots of hair inside; we managed to clean up the clogging sink ourselves when we learned this the first night. Hotel is not too far from public bus station, but it is pretty far from the metro station (more than 15 minutes of walking distance); it’s not likely that we will book this place when we visit Nanjing next time.

My only one hotel in Nanjing, best of the best. The room is spacious, clean, beautiful view and luxurious. Great location in the centre of city.

The hotel location was close to Xinjiekou and between 2 Metro stations. Joyce helped us check in and was very helpful during our stay and tried to make our stay as pleasant as can be. She even helped move us to a room with a street view as our original room faced another building. Some improvements can be made by the hotel management: 1. Lobby can be made more attractive. It's outdated and not really welcoming. 2. The food display had barely anything displayed. There was even a plant that needed watering. 3. I found the coffee machine needing some TLC and the water dispenser nearby. 4. The chef can be more pleasant. 5. The space outside the hotel can be cleaned up, the planter boxes are in disarray and even have withered plants. Even the chairs and tables outside can do some TLC. 6. The cleaning lady accidentally took our small pillow even on the first day she properly placed it on the bed after fixing our bed. The good thing is that the bedsheets were still waiting to be picked up, and they were able to recover the pillow. If it were not for the warmth of the rest of the hotel staff, it would be hard to recommend staying here. I hope Hyatt Management does more to take care of the hotel property because your staff can only do so much. We booked this hotel because of the high rating, and we were disappointed, to say the least.

Nice hotel in a convenient location (basically right next to 夫子庙） and a really nice bridge that's on a lot of online itinerary recommendations。 However, there were weird yellow and red stains on the towel with someone's maroon hair (I have black hair). I even threw the towel on the floor before housekeeping came to try to get a new one but even the newly rolled up one had a yellow splotch in it.

The second hotel to complain about The air-conditioning outlet was full of dust. As long as there was a big movement in the room, the dust would fly all over the sky like snowflakes. The front desk arranged to clean the air outlet and provided a negative ion air purifier, but it still couldn't solve the dust visible to the naked eye. The worst thing was that the room was not cleaned properly, the bed was not made, there was a large puddle of water behind the wash basin, and tea bags were not provided every day. The wash basin drain was leaking and was not dealt with. The biggest problem was that when I checked in to another room for my daughter, the front desk said that her room did not include breakfast, so she ordered takeout on the first morning, and only found out on the second morning that it was included in the breakfast. When we checked out, we raised the issue of not giving the first breakfast again, and the front desk waiter paid ¥20 out of his own pocket to compensate my daughter. It's not a matter of money, it's a matter of principle. The instant water heater in the room can get as hot as 99 degrees, and you can't use tap water, only bottled water, which is not very environmentally friendly. The hotel is close to Yuhuamen subway station, but there are no supporting facilities around and no place to go.

Absolutely fabulous hotel for our family of 5. We had two rooms next to each other and the amenities were great with good room size with space for luggage and a place to sit. The staff were the highlight of our stay and it makes all the difference, they were gracious and polite and friendly and despite my very poor Mandarin attempts, they were always helpful with no eye rolls or patronizing tones. All the front desk staff were amazing from helping us to order late suppers to organizing some medicine for our sick child. The location was perfect for a morning stroll by the canal and close to one of the main gate wall. Highly recommended and we would come and stay again.

Just checked out today and we were very pleased to have stayed here! It’s right smack next to ‘Bao en si’ and ‘Cheng Qiang’. It is situated in a new “old street” that is not fully opened yet as most shops are still up for rental. But we are glad bcos of this as it is quiet and after a day of hustling around other places of interest we feel relaxed to come back here. The hotel kindly upgraded my room to a bigger and better one instead of the basement room. We chose to have the river view room and we woke up to a beautiful scenery. But it will lack privacy as we can see the opposite houses but that’s fine for us when we close the light curtain. Room is well equipped and heater is functional. Washer and dryer are available for free usage and it’s very efficient and easy to use! We enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel and found some amazing local food and we enjoyed doing that very much! Walked to nearby big mall and it had amazing restaurants as well. Then took a train to ‘Xinjiekou’ conveniently! We also visited the Outlets about 25 minutes drive away and the 9 Spa 2p minutes drive away. Everything is within reach from the hotel. Walking distance from ‘fuzimiao’ and ‘laomendong’ about.. 20 minutes walk or 8 minutes drive away! Highly recommend for a pleasant stay!

The room is very clean. The area around is not developed yet. There is nothing to visit. But it seems that something is being built outside. The hotel is about 18 minutes by taxi from Nanjing South Railway Station, which is very good. It is about 20 minutes by taxi from Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River. It is about 25 minutes from the museum. It is a bit far from the Nanjing Massacre, about 30 minutes. In general, this place is not too far from all the attractions. It is quiet. If you don't like noise, you can choose this one. Takeout is also very convenient. Good 👍

This stay was very satisfactory. The proprietress was enthusiastic and helped us carry our luggage to the room. She also told us the way to the surrounding food and scenic spots. The room was nice, with a large terrace to enjoy the scenery. The night view was beautiful. The cruise ship passed by the Qinhuai River downstairs. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the night view. The room was clean and comfortable, with good details. There were both disposable slippers and plastic slippers for bathing. The bath water was very strong and hot. The bed was soft and comfortable, spotless. There was no ordinary roll paper in the bathroom. I asked the proprietress for it. She replied that she would use the tissue paper on the bedside table. However, the proprietress soon brought the long roll paper for their own use. The boss gave an extra box of tissue paper. The service attitude was very good. The hotel has a good location. It can be reached by foot from Laomendong Confucius Temple, Zhuque Bridge, Wuyi Lane and Zhonghua Gate. There are many delicious foods around, and you can't eat enough. Nanjing is a city you don't want to leave once you go there. I will choose his hotel next time I go to Nanjing.

The staff r sooo niceee, gave me tea and small during check out the location r the best, unfortunately didn't try the breakfast but if u stay here go to the famous halal 牛肉锅贴 and 牛肉简报（halal fried beef dumpling) that's famous in dianping they're sooo good super juicy!!! Also very unfortunate thing happened the cleaning lady throw away my sachet serum that I have(an expensive one that I have💀) but that's ok it's kinda my fault too for not put them back
